Awesome new venue!! Beautiful decor and use of space. Perfec5 for functions as they have loads of different sections. Make sure you ask you see what's behind the bookcase. Wonderful selection of wines and great staff.

We had our Christmas party here in their private dining room and the service was unforgettable. The staff did a wonderful job by making us feel welcome and accommodated. The food and drinks were to such a high quality - our staff loved it. Thank you to Baedeker for such a fantastic way to end 2021.

I took my boss from the States to Baedeker, & even though they were closed for wedding tastings, Steve was amazing & still allowed us to stay. Steve was so accommodating, knowledgeable in cocktails & advised what we should try.

The atmosphere is beautiful & all the staff are lovely. I highly recommend Baedeker, ticks all the boxes for me. ❤

Good atmosphere, not too busy, lots of interesting architecture, comfortable decor, prices were fair, good customer service made me feel welcome, and I appreciate the staff creating a mocktail for my non-drinking partner despite none on the menu. Only thing that could possibly be improved was music, and even that wasn't bad. If I ever want to host a special event in the future I would choose this place, and I would probably choose their sun room or bookcase room (I didn't actually get around to seeing their outdoor area if they have one).

Baedeker hosted our wedding, which they executed flawlessly. The staff, venue, food and paired wines were exquisite with all guests enjoying a wonderful time.

Notably, Sheree and Stephen supported us all the way to ensure the day went off without a hitch.

We have also enjoyed post-work Friday wines at Baedeker. Ask the staff about their made-to-order charcuterie that can be ordered ahead of time to compliment your choice of wines & impress your friends.

Do not walk past this little hidden gem. Its quaint, cosy seating areas are perfect for a night cap or a few quiet drinks with close friends. The bar staff are very personable and know their trade. This is one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets. I recommend you try the Old Fashioned cocktail. Delicious....

Such a gem if a venue and bar, love the secret private room behind the bookcase. One if the greatest meals I ever had was at an event held here , I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

The place has amazing ambience and wines with a great and friendly owner. Definitely worth a check out. I give it 5 stars however have to admit so far all the bar staff have appeared grumpy and like they are doing you a favour serving you, which impacts on the overall enjoyment and this could potentially turn customers off.

The evening we had in The Cellar was excellent. The food was delicious, drinks were great, service was exceptional and the room was perfect for what we were after (private dining with facilities to give a short presentation to some customers).

WOW! What an event. The lead-up to organising with Kaitlyn was impeccable. She listened to every need and request I had and completely catered our event to our budget. One of the easiest and most seamless things i've ever organised. Not only was the place AMAZING, the staff were so attentive and accomodating. They gave us privacy but also never let our drinks run dry. Shame I don't live in Brisbane, otherwise, I would organise every even at this place. You guys are the leading standards x

Great atmosphere overall. Not too crowed at night. It has a hidden door for special event. The female staff was very pretty and lovely.

I’ve been here twice in the last 6 months and can honestly say that Craig and his staff always make it a memorable one. The food and drinks were outstanding and the service was even better! Would recommend.

The recent whisky tasting event on St Patrick's Eve was a charming event. The venue has real charm and older world character. A step into history almostTardis like. Looking forward to future events at this boutique venue appealing to all.

Down the stairs, pass the bar, turn left into the outside area. Very cool, and do not leave until you have tried the duck pate (duck not liver) or the anchovies and herb bread.

Baedeker is a hidden gem in the Valley with nostalgic interior design, including a bookcase-secret-door! With good wine too, it's the perfect space in The Valley for functions (or to drop in).

Great place for a drink friendly staff (even security ❤). Super friendly staff.

What an amazing venue. Attended a wine dinner but I know I will be back to use this interesting venue for events in the future.
