The Courthouse Restaurant

Found this gorgeous place as we were driving through Cleveland last night. Absolutely delicious food and the atmosphere was just so relaxing with a pianist playing. Food was superb and my fish was the best I have tasted in a long time. Felt like I had stepped back in time to where you get quality service and food. The staff were so attentive. Beautiful white table cloths which just adds a special extra touch. Took a walk down near the water under the moonlight. This restaurant is just stunning. Will be taking a drive again there soon. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and night! Feel like I have missed out not knowing this place existed.

We attended here on a Thursday night. The staff that were on were polite, attentive and always smiling.

The atmosphere was very elegant, with a pianist playing at a level that allowed diners to converse but still enjoy her playing.

The meals we had could not be faulted.
From the entrees to the mains.
The seafood was well seasoned and prepared The Moreton Bay bug and prawn salad. The mains were very much the same Fillet Mignon wrapped in bacon and the seafood side and Pan seared Atlantic Salmon and garlic prawns.

This was our first time here and we will certainly be returning.

Thank you for an amazing venue to host the son’s 21st birthday celebration. We booked the Bayview room and enjoyed an outstanding 3 course meal.

A delightful first experience of a $55 Winter Wednesday 2-course dinner special. Melt in your mouth beef cheeks with vegetables followed by sticky date pudding. Such a cosy atmosphere in the Cell Block by the gorgeous brick fireplace with only one other couple to share. Live pianist playing in the Main Room was just beautiful to hear. Wandered the lovely waterfront gardens with festoon lights. Very attentive and helpful staff and very fast service. We were in and out in no time which suited us but still so magical in the Cell Block. Very cosy. Love to come back soon.

Superb food and sophisticated dining in a unique and historical Australian setting. The wait staff and service was first class, our meals were prepared to perfection and the atmosphere was very special. A special occasion or every occasion choice for sure.

Great food, service was good. The wait time for the entrees was long, due to an error with the order printer, and everything was fast after that was resolved. Lovely space, and the live music was enjoyable.

Had a 70th Birthday lunch last Sunday with 16 guests in The Bay Room which is a private dining room. Emma and her team were fantastic and made our day very special. The table was beautifully decorated and we were able to add our own extras to the room which Emma offered to help with. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. The servers made sure everyone’s drinks were topped up and they served our cake with extra trimmings. All our guests loved the day. Thank you Emma and also Lochie and the lovely ladies. You all made our celebration very memorable.

Our group comes to the courthouse every year for our Xmas celebration. It's the best. We wouldn't go anywhere else. The salmon was the best I've ever had. !!!

Service was excellent. Never felt rushed, but always felt attended to. Friendly and helpful and happy to offer input on selections when asked.

The food was outstanding. The deserts were simply amazing.
There was a pianist playing throughout our visit, and she did a fantastic job.

Would absolutely come again!

A fantastic venue for the Redlands Biggest Morning Tea fund raiser for Cancer. The two course lunch was superb, faultless presentation and flavour, and service. A truly memorable experience in such an iconic building preserving our heritage.

Not a bad word to say. Top quality service from friendly and professional staff. We happily went straight into the jail cell and enjoyed the fireplace. My fiancee is a coeliac and they made it so easy! We had the Winter Wednesday Special and they accommodated for her without question or fuss. The soup was delightful and she commented that the accompanying bread-roll was the best bread she’d had in years! The beef cheeks were so tender you could push from top to bottom with a fork and the sauce was all the things a good sauce should be: rich, balanced and abundant. Now the dessert was next level. What a generous portion of a delicious sticky date pudding. Compliments to the chef! Thank you to the maître d’ and the waitstaff for a wonderful evening.

The meal was lovely, and the night that the greatest Brisbane lockdown was cancelled. I'd happy to be able to get a reservation for my 40th birthday. It was a very special night.

New Year's Eve celebration night. The Courthouse pulled out all the stops. The atmosphere was great, the food excellent, the music was danceable lol And the fireworks finished off a brilliant night

We had a memorial for a friend. The food and service were excellent. The room was lovely and cool.

i came here for the first time ever today. i have never been a big fan of seafood but my meal today changed my mind!! the food was absolutely amazing, i cant recommend it enough. the staff were so lovely and helpful and it was a really pleasant atmosphere.
