Great place for a coffee and breakfast. The food is really good with good vegetarian options. You can also ask them to modify your food a bit to make it more to your liking (e.g., replace eggs with avocado).
A bit on the pricey side but still worth it. Service is quick and staff very nice:
The coffee is good and the place can accommodate people working on their laptops.

I love this cafe/ restaurant. One of my favourites in our community.

The aromas from their kitchen when I collect my Aus Post parcels ( across the road ) are always so inviting.

Initially intrigued by the Thai lunch deals menu, decided to stop by for a quick pick up. Ordered green chicken curry and pad kee mao - without a lot of expectations. Requested for super spicy pad kee mao.

Very much delighted by the drunken noodles and the green curry is very authentic too. Think it's been run as a family business, where everyone is so welcoming and friendly.

The other time, I stopped here for a late evening coffee, as all my regular places are closed already. The coffee was so fresh and to the point. Since then, I can stop here for coffee without any second thoughts.

A jack of all trades, and a master of the few I have tried so far.

This cafe serves great variety of food and the staff are delightful. They always acknowledge me and the service is prompt.

This is my favorite cafe in South Melbourne! The brunch and coffee are always so good and the staff are the nicest people. Highly recommend!

We stopped into Degani for breakfast while out running errands, not having high hopes for a chain cafe in a shopping mall, however we were very pleasantly surprised.

We were greeted by Latifa, who was the kindest and bubbliest person ever. She took our orders, cracking jokes and smiling the entire time.

We ordered the smashed avo and the degani stack, as well as two coffees. The food was very good and very filling, the coffees were good, kudos to the trainee barista, and the service was excellent, would definitely go back if we were in the area.

Had a vegetarian croissant and it was absolutely amazing, full of flavour, well worth the money. Staff were amazing, excellent customer service, great atmosphere. Chai latte really hit the spot.

It’s the small things that count! I order my coffee every morning from Degani and they always leave me cute notes. It makes my morning and the coffee is delicious 🤤

New owner it seems, the fit out has gotten some splashes of colour and the atmosphere is warm and inviting now. Easily a place to get some laptop work done or have informal meetings. Cappuccino is excellent.

Barista just went out, offered and made a free coffee for busker down his luck.. What a wholesome place. Good vibes all around.

Great comfortable atmosphere, nice seats and set up. Amazing range of delicious looking foods. Some really reasonably priced lunch specials to grab a quick bite for lunch. Friendly helpful staff.
