Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre

Thank you so much to Margaret for accomodating all the wheelchair patrons on the night of the Fleetwood Pac show. The lifts broke down for this event and Margaret ensured she got everyone seated so as they would not miss the show.
Margaret went out of her way to ensure everyone was happy with their seating and above and beyond to ensure we were all ok for refreshments at interval .
All done with a smile on her face !! Well done Margaret and Thank you ☺

A really lovely local theatre with roomy seating. We saw an awesome musical called 'The Sunshine Club' which is a fabulous Australian indigenous musical. It's so nice to be able to go and see a theatre show without having to head all the way into Melbourne.

Fabulous community facility that offers huge range of shows at reasonable prices. Seating is spacious and there's an old style snack shop for half time treats
Very accommodating staff and super clean toilets.

I mainly go to see movies there but they also run different types of productions throughout the year. There is one cinema. The foyer is very large and easy to move around between the ticket sales booth, food kiosk and bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great theatre. Perfect for my neices dance concert recently.

Great choice of films at Wonthaggi theatre.. 'Compartment 6' was excellent. The audience clapped too.
Buying a ticket from the gorgeous staff was so easy and a pleasure to interact. I love this theatre with it's brutalist architecture.

Watched a movie Trolls with the grandchildren, not flash like the city, but it was good.

Was best live show I've seen. Seating was fantastic. Not over big so less people in the audience.

This is a venue which offers excellent live theatre productions through Wonthaggi Theatre Group, as well as movies from time to time. Comfortable seating which afford good viewing from pretty much every seat. Ticket prices are affordable, and parking in the evening isn't a problem. There is also a lift for anyone who has mobility issues

Roomy, right temperature, not too hot or cold. Good arrangement of reshreshments. Not a bad seat in the house either!

Great cinema for a rural town. Cheaper tickets ($15 per adult) and candy bar was also much better value than every cinema I've ever been to ($12 for 2 600ml Pepsi's, small popcorn and a choc top!). Heaps of seating and legroom. Recommend it highly!

Very nice audio while watching WONKA

Very well presented foyer and canteen. Excellent comfortable seating in sensibly spaced isles. Comfortable temperature setting. Great sound system.

Great venue for live theatre such as visiting performers or our amazing theatre groups shows plus movies.

Awesome staff. I needed to refund an adult ticket and add 2 more kids tickets, it was a breeze. Diverse movies and shows, beautiful space.

A brilliant refurbishment of our community arts centre. Opened by WTG performance of The Boy from OZ . An outstanding production. Congratulations to all involved. Looking forward to next year's show.
