St Helena Marketplace

On September 22, 2023, I went to St. Helena Marketplace to do some shopping for a BBQ event during the upcoming weekend.
It features the ideal balance of tenants to offer the neighborhood's residents fair service.
A few upgrades to the market are to be anticipated.

OMG the butcher shop close to Bakers Delight has the best Angus hamburgers, they are delicious and very affordable in price. I drive from Heidelberg to get them they are so good. The staff are really friendly and helpful, like the good old days friendly customer service..

Has almost the perfect mix of shops. The Deli and Butcher are both A1 and the Woolworths is stocked much better than other others nearby. The sushi is usually nice and fresh and the bottle shop is super convenient.
The car park on the other hand is one of the worst designs in history but I won’t allow that to take anything away from the centre itself.

A small but very pleasant shopping centre. Supermarket, newsagent, chemist, Baker’s delight & charcoal chicken. Butcher too. Good for basic grocery and day to day needs. Parking generally ample, shares grounds with an excellent medical centre.

I adore St Helena marketplace. I used to live very close to it and it was my favourite place to shop. The butchers is fantastic, the chicken shop has good food and the sushi shop is good too. The pharmacy sells the most amazing array of gifts, I always find things there for presents for people. There's also a bottle shop, bakery, deli (oh gosh I could live in the deli), a cake shop/cafe which sells delicious crostoli, other fast food places on the outside of the marketplace, a Woolworth's and a newsagent. For a small place it has pretty much everything you'll need

Since their refurbishment, there is now a lot more seating for those who are elderly or those who are just waiting for others to shop, or just meet. The centre is always clean and has a great reputation. I do not shop at any other shopping complex: and have not for 25 years.

I tried to stop this venture when it was threatening the tranquility of our city outdoors rural St Helena District 30 years ago. Now I love it as a village centre that we can walk or drive to for our food shopping takeaways gifts papers books etc without ever having to go to town we even have a local for medical clinic. It helped keep Diamond Valley so peaceful and such a wonderful place to live

I love this centre. It has all the necessary varied and quality food outlets for healthy choices. A great place with friendly people and excellent parking plus medical centre and other amenities. KOI is recommended for something different to eat in or take away.

Always busy, always get a park. 99 percent of drivers are courteous. Has most things, you need to grab. Need to sort one way driving better as it can be confusing.

Easy parking, a good variety of shops including a well stocked Woolworths.

Has nearly everything you need from a bottle-o to a deli. Also has a butcher and a baker (and the supermarket sells candles;-) )

What great variety of Small Goods, we were there for goodies for family lunch was a great experience, young workers in the deli were fantastic

Great place for everyday shopping, also have just opened new casual dining venues - fish and chips and dumpling house (Buoy and Koi).....both well worth a look if you want better than average.

Recent refurb for all the fresh food. My new go to supermarket. Easy to park. Great staff. Everything you need for day to day life.

Good mix of shops and takeaway food shops. Easy parking. Always clean and toilets are a lifesaver for parents with kids.

Good experience. Convenient. Has the basic number and type of general shops you need for weekly shopping, ATMs, take-aways, newsagent, chemist etc.

Lovely place to shop. Friendly local and shop keeper. Best local deli so far, the bread's so fresh and soft.

Enjoyed the walk through the reserve while sighting the resident wildlife such as frogs that are usually a protected species in most areas around Victoria. :)
