Caffe La Via

We just had our brunch at la via and found our new brekkie place. Egg Benedict with smoked salmon is highly recommended. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Great ambience amid the very busy Glenferrie road.

My family had a fantastic experience at cafe La Via! The food was so delicious, the staff were attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend it for a great meal!

Lovely brunch with tasty food. Enjoyed my eggs benny while my partner had the biggie although may not look big, certainly satisfied especially with coffee. Ordered a magic which surprised me to come in a mug. Outdoor and indoor seating available.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and there were options to cater to everyone's tastes and dietary preferences. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a family gathering. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The portion sizes were generous, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. I highly recommend this place as a fantastic choice for a family outing.

It’s under new management. Really liked the atmosphere, food and especially the coffee (My husband is particular about his coffee, this place uses Axil coffee beans. his favourite). The burger was deliciously juicy and chicken Parma was the most generous dish from what we ordered. The waffle dish was as aesthetic as its taste. Lovely presentation. Food was served at the same time for everyone on the table. Overall value for money portions. Airy place for a peaceful brunch or coffee in Glenferrie road. Would definitely return.

Lovely cafe, great food, fast service with an excellent location. Coffee is always good, and the range of food is quite refreshing as well.

Staff really knew the menu and how to cater for allergies. They were friendly and attentive. The food was well presented and well priced and they serve good fresh coffee. They also have fresh juices, milkshakes, a few beers on tap and a cocktail list. Worth a visit

Very pleasant experience today. We had 3 mothers (one in a wheelchair) and the staff were very accomodating, reliable and friendly. Great food and impeccable service and we even received free drinks as part of their Mother’s Day package. Thanks to the team at Caffe La Via who went above and beyond for our special day. We will be coming back!

Had a nice brunch here. Great food, coffee and friendly staff. I don’t normally put any comments for cafe but I want to this time, as this post pandemic situation definitely gives hard time for these cafes but this cafe is doing very well by trying their best to accommodate all their customers, at the same time following all the laws from the government. Great job. Also, you will see their staff are sanitizing the premise. Highly recommended.

The people who work here are so sweet. They are always happy to have a quick chat and make you feel welcome. They never rush you out the door which I love. Many times I have gotten caught up talking with friends over a meal for hours because the vibe is so relaxed and the staff are always gently attentive. The food is great and the coffee is good and they are licenced! Bonus! Very happy to recommend this place 👍😊♥

Love this new place we found. I suffer from allergies. And ordered the chicken in a gluten free sandwich. Thinking it was plain. The lady came and me it was in a mayo sauce.i ordered g free toast with honey. Sounds boring I know. The lady waitress came over and asked me how it was and could she do anything else.. very very good concerned person. We will be back. I would recommend this restaurant fir its service it atmosphere and it’s pricing. Well done.

Just... yum. Stopped by for breakfast after work on a Saturday and so happy I did! The coffee was perfection and the food... just 👌🏼 chefs kiss. The veggie breakfast is so delicious, the avo has some spices added to it (possibly cumin) which was a nice change to regular smashed avo, and the hash was tasty too. Can see myself coming back here. Staff was friendly too. Its just an overall nice Cafe to go to.

Yum yum yum! Friendly happy staff that know the meaning of customer service and going over and beyond. Food delicious had spiced beef pizza, crispy fried chicken and the best fries. Will be coming back happy hour 3-6pm. Even got an appointment to look at function room for upcoming event.

A friend recommended I pop over to Caffe La Via for a bite to eat and I definitely was not disappointed! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and were extremely knowledgeable regarding their menu. There was a variety of interesting, creative and delicious-sounding Mediterranean dishes available; as well as the much-loved favourites. I ordered the Peri Peri Pizza and it was cooked to perfection #FoodEnvy. Fresh tasty ingredients, beautiful presentation and reasonably-priced. My date ordered the calamari and I couldn't resist stealing some off his plate. 10/10 coffee (and I'm a pretty harsh critic/coffee enthusiast). The baristas here know their craft and it was clear they use high-quality ingredients. Caffe La Via has a lovely ambience, great personality and I'll definitely be returning very soon. I can see why it's a hit with the locals. Two thumbs up!

Always such a great meal here - simple food done well! The wine is beautiful too. Service is fantastic and they have a little smokers area our back. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The new owner/manager is such a sweetheart. He was so welcoming and optimistic. I was having a bad morning and he quite literally made it better by his kindness

An ideal place to spend time with family and friends. The service is great, nice staff especially the manager. The foods are amazing. I will definitely come back soon!

Performed at an engagement party here and it was great. The room upstairs looks like a jazz lounge - really cool. Owners and staff are super-friendly and really look after you, and the food is great.
