A classic general independent bookshop. Jeffreys has been in the Malvern shopping strip as long as most people can remember and it's my first call when I want a book.

Friendly and efficient customer service, great range of cards and books.

We drive some distance across suburbs to get to this treasured gem! We know that we will always walk out with more books than we planned to buy. Well thought out displays from the moment you walk in. Hard to get down to the rest of the store in the first few minutes, because we are always captivated by the books at the entry! This is like the gorgeous Melbourne bookstores from decades ago - quality books, caring for customers and what they read, and SUCH helpful staff every time we visit. We love the wide range of books on offer which cater to more than just the contemporary crowd. We feel the choice of books reflects more the quality of the writers and what they can provide the reader rather than what's expected of the writer. KEEP BEING AWESOME!

Excellent service, great range and very knowledgeable and friendly staff who are only too happy to help with whatever you need. Had the staff pick out some books for a friend's 6 year old son - perfect recommendation - it was from his favourite story book collection so he loved the gift. And they wrap too! Will definitely be going back to get more gifts from here - might even buy some books for myself!

A pleasure to wander in and browse this bookstore. There is a wide range of books covering many and varied interests as well as quirky diaries and appealing stationery.

What a wonderful store. Well curated books & gifts. Fab & upscale Xmas crackers & calendars- not the usual tat. Every year Adam orders my Filofax diary inserts & a special Letts (UK) 13 month travel diary. They even record the previous Letts cover colour, making sure I get a different one each year. A great memory record. Brilliant & attentive customer service that inspires customer loyalty over many years.

Fantastic selection of books, great customer service, knowledgable staff who genuinely have a passion for books. Staff are so friendly that the shop has a homely feel to it. If you're not sure of your next read, chat to the staff here and they'll have a great recommendation.

Until about a week ago I had never been here before, I went to find a book for mum but spent the better part of an hour lost in a trance, there are so many great finds here and many I haven't seen elsewhere. The staff are friendly, but they don't badger or follow you around. Awesome little place.

It's a superior suburban bookshop. It has a wide range of books, sometimes chaotically displayed & knowledgeable, helpful staff. If you're after something they don't have, they'll get it in for you. It is well worth a visit.

The staff here are amazing, they are so kind, welcoming and extremely helpful! They make the most wonderful recommendations and always happy to go to any lengths to help you find what you are looking for! And they have a loyalty program!
