Cafe in Tokyo (Ashgrove)

I had the pleasure of trying the fresh salmon don at this store, and it exceeded my expectations. Priced only at $19, the portion was generously sized, and the thick, fresh salmon was incredibly good. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal!

Got two party platters of sushi from here for a party. Sushi was so fresh, great flavours and excellent value. Great friendly service too and flexible with pick up time. Highly recommend.

Worth going if you’re in the area. Great lunch deals - especially the $10 curry katsu. Yakisoba can be cooked at home though. Good udon! Friendly service.

As faithful customers of the Algester Cafe in Tokyo since they opened, we thought we should try out the new cafe & they sure impressed! 🥳 Their Wagyu Beef Roll might have even been the best we've ever had 🤫😊 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent cafe/restaurant, including for breakfast. They have a good range of both Japanese and Australian dishes - so the usual cafe favorites but also Japanese style breakfasts. Great service, and well-presented meals. Highly recommended if you'd like to try something unique.

This is definitely not a place to miss... Absolutely incredible breakfast/brunch here.
Had the Japanese Breakfast whilst my wife had the Eggs Benedict.
Literally could not fault anything.
From the coffee, portion sizes and prices everything was flawless.
Food was perfectly seasoned, quickly delivered and hot.
Will definitely be back!

The naming of this cafe is no accident. The food is delicious, authentic and made with care. I can't say I've had better takoyaki even in Tokyo and the katsu curry is amazing.

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in Brisbane, and owned by the most beautiful couple! They were so happy and generous with us when we came and the food completely exceeded our expectations - now I can’t wait to come back for breakfast! 😍

A really diverse menu of Japanese and western fusion meals, accommodating staff, good service. Tokyo breakfast serving size was amazing value surrounded by beautiful Japanese inspired decore. Easy parking and good location.

If you’ve only got a smidgen of time I recommend the cheesecake, or chocolate brownie, with a nice hot cup of coffee. Always excellent, warm service.
