IGA Everyday Orford

A great range of produce. Operational during Boxing Day. When I couldn't find a product, there was always someone willing to help. Google maps said that it closed at 5 pm but fortunately for us I discovered that it was 6 pm. It was very convenient to have it so close to our cabin.

We enjoyed shopping here very much. Beautiful product alleys, very smooth riding mid size double-decker shopping carts available - a unique and seldom gem in the world of shopping cart usage experiences, slowly facing extinction in the modern world of the much bigger common one-basket shopping cart.

This place is great and has pretty much everything you need for your stay. It is well stocked and the owner is usual happy to order stuff in. For example I got him to order me in some bags of mulch.
Prices are reasonable and on par with an IGA near Hobart. They also have a good range of garden, diy and other bits that you might need while in Orford.

Just came in to buy a 10 pack of Pepsi Max and was served by the coolest young man. He was probably only around 15 but was as sharp as a tack and had my wife and I in fits of laughter.
When the eftpos machine didn’t accept our payment, he replied “it’s me, not you”.
I replied, “don’t worry I’m not going to do a runner, anyway you’d catch me, I think I’d have to throw a can at you to get away!”
As quick as a flash he said, “well you’ve got 10 tries!!!”

Clean, great service and good variety

Excellent service. That's why 5 star review however in terms of price it's usually double of what's available in Sorrel that's 56k away. Even with current fuel price a $100 shop your still better off financially

Big thank you to the team at Orford IGA. During home quarantine we needed a few items and obviously couldn't venture out. Gary and the team had no issue with helping us out and even offered to drive the groceries to where we were staying. This was truly above and beyond. All the food was fresh and great to see so many local producers being supported. Would highly recommend this store.

Great people and customer service

Always busy here. Stocked shelves. Friendly staff. Good selection of meat, Deli goods, fruit n veg, fishing tackle, Lotto, BBQ Chooks, Frozen stuff, toys, hardware stuff even socks!!

Suprising well stocked. We headed to the coast for a few days and didn't expect such a wide range of groceries. Clean well laid out with really good service.

I.G.A. Orford is Great. The staff are Friendly and Helpful and the range is fairly good. They also have an ATM and do LOTTO.
