lovey 1.5 hour slow hiking gorgeous wild flowers and even an echidna at the top was adorable earring some food and wandering around. it just rained the night before but this was not slippery. mainly il hill cloning rocks and boulders. need to have moderate basic fitness / and take it easy no issues at all to do this. recommend allow the 2 hours they say. so private nobody else on the track.

Three Thumbs lookout is about 10 km from Orford over bitumen and dirt roads. It’s a beautiful view on a fine day. Yesterday there was a lot of sea mist and visibility was not good. We came back today and the view was superb. To the north you can see the Freycinet Peninsula and almost in front of you is the northern end of Maria Island.
A beautiful spot to stop and take in the majesty of nature. We brought our coffee with us and had a lovely morning tea just watching and listening to the sounds of nature.
It is worth a drive up to see the view from here - definitely leave the caravan elsewhere, this is a car only drive.

This was Such a great View and Picnic spot .. very good road going up. Quite steep but OK.

The sign for return track (forest track) is missing. I've been that way in the past but it looked overgrown so if you can find it I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you've been that way before..

This lookout somehow isolated from other attractions and is not that impressive. So I would skip it and go to other places.
