Pit stop for lunch. Had the best calamari here. Simply yummy! Had the seafood plate and fish plate. Fish bites, prawns, squid rings all tasty. Definitely a good place to stop for a bite!

Under new management. Clean and with a great, unexpected view from their back deck to the water. Friendly service, the calamari was delicious AND reasonably priced. Stop in early, they close at 7pm!

Delicious food, bonus chippies, spotless facilities and super friendly staff! Definitely worth a stop if you’re driving through!

It’s such a lovely cafe! The owner is very friendly. It opens everyday from 6:30am. The potato cake is so delicious!

Happily looked after a large spontaneous group of hungry teens! Got $20 worth of chips for our group of 8 to share..plenty of food for us and we were unable to finish it all! Kept everyone happy on our journey to the Bay of fires!

Delicious scallops and chips! They were just closing but happily opened up to cook us dinner. This is the best, most friendly service that I have had anywhere in Australia. The prices were very reasonable too!

Lovely friendly service. Had a round of coffees and milkshakes which were excellent, plus some mini quiches. Great place to stop while driving up the east coast.

We were driving to St Helens and decided to pull over here for breakfast. Had bacon and egg roll. It's was an opened face roll and it was massive. It was delicious and coffee was excellent. Staff behind the counter were very friendly. Also not overpriced.

Food was nice and the service was great. They have plenty of food ready to go which is good if you just want to grab something and keep going. I will return and try their evening seafood

Had the pleasure of having lunch here on the weekend. We had booked for a party of 12 and aside from the delicious food and the friendly and fast service, the table was set so beautifully. Highly recommend

The take away fish was awsome! Big portion and very good! The owner was really friendly and even apologized for a misunderstanding I created with my poor English. We also had some nice coffee! I recommend this place!

To the restaurant owners ,my local folks,you have no idea where the unhappy customers shared their experience,one of the largest social medias in the world and most of the users are Chinese. I have no idea what happened exactly but I believe you only have told half of the truth and same to those Chinese customers. I gave you five star here just to encourage you to face the truth that nobody is perfect. I know we Chinese have a lot of problems,but same to some Aussies. racism is not acceptable in Australia anyway. Hopefully this can end soon and you can have a better business. If you did something wrong just give those customers an apology like a man. If you truly didn’t,just keep defending yourself bravely. I hope it’s just caused by a culture and language misunderstanding and nobody had evil intentions to each other. But be careful,people may keep digging this event in social media,so you had better be honest.

To my dear Chinese fellows, I just want to say we have a lot of problems like those things reported in local media’s again and again. I don’t have to speak it out because we all know what they are. Maybe those things have made local people think bad of us and then they show us their racism attitudes. I feel bad for those Chinese customers. It’s not fair to them and they shouldn’t experience all these things,if they have done nothing wrong. Sometimes it may be language misunderstood or culture misunderstanding. Or maybe just like it’s reported in wechat this time the owner is a true racist. I just want to say whatever the owner is,let’s reasonably and bravely defend our rights. But let’s remember as well that we have a lot of problems. Maybe at the same time when we condemn the owner we should reflect our behaviors. Again,sorry to those Chinese follows. May God be with them and help them.

Nice coffee however you can choose variety of food to refresh yourself.

It's been a long time since I've had fish n chips that weren't greasy or horrible. I was so surprised to hear they use cottonseed oil, so we've got taste and healthy food. The Flathead was superb.

Love this little cafe. Seafood is so fresh.. Simply to die for. Dog friendly we sit out the back looking at the ocean. Perfect stopping point between Hobart and Bicheno.
