Spacious park with the cleanest amenities I have come across we have been to many caravan parks and none of them that clean the owners are lovely people made us feel welcome

So many great memories over the years

The caravan sites were extremely spacious and whole area was well equipped with everything we could need. It was so quiet, which was especially impressive as it was so close to everything in town and moderately busy, but still didn't feel crowded at all. We will definitely stay again, the amenities and laundry were probably the cleanest and most well organised we have seen- which I LOVED. The lovely woman running the park is incredible...a multitasking ninja- on to everything, and so helpful and friendly! She was even keeping an eye on kids at the park while juggling customers, just to make sure they were safe!!! What a legend!
We had a few good chats, and I could imagine staying here more than a night or two... we would never want to leave!!! The kids LOVED the park area, and we have saved this as our hidden gem to recommend to friends and family, as it was such a lovely experience. Thank you from the Pickett family ❤

Absolutely lovely park and the most welcoming and beautiful managers.
We originally were booked for just one night but we stayed an extra night because we liked it so much. The sites were extremely generous. Nothing was too much of an ask. They have a playground which was great for our little 3 year old, and the pool was very clean and enjoyable also. The park itself was very well maintained, and Lisa was a breath of fresh air to deal with, she was soo incredibly kind to our little one. This caravan park is definitely kid friendly and knows how to treat people and make sure their stay is pleasant. Highly recommend!!! 5 star service, 5 star caravan Park.

Stranded for 3 weeks due to car breakdown, Lisa kept us upbeat and even went as far as to loan us her car to do grocery shopping as required. She kept the Park and facilities beautifully clean and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for everything.

Had a great stay at Getaway. Wish we had time to stay longer. Lisa and Darren are fantastic. Run a tight ship???Same as anywhere else. Read a couple of reviews that were not nice. Don't know what planet they have been camping on. Can please some people but there are a few you just can't. Great park Lisa and Darren keep up the great work.

Hosts are great, cabins excellent. Great grounds and stargazing option if keen. Fabulous

Lady in office so friendly, we’ve been before, great location, huge sites and the amenities are very clean. Such a great park for an overnighter or longer. Back again next year.
Oh, the rates are so reasonable .

Easily the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in a lot all over Australia and around the world). Our cabin was immaculate, from every nook and cranny to the utensils. Beds comfortable.
Cabins are well spaced from one another. We noticed the owners spaced out residents throughout the park, so everyone had some privacy. Each cabin had their own small outdoor area, and our little family made good use of it. Grounds are tidy and well maintained.
Lisa and Darren are warm hosts. Its clear they take pride in their work. We're looking forward to returning!

We have stayed at Getaway Tourist Park before about 4 years ago and it didn't disappoint then and it didn't disappoint now. The accommodation is fantastic. The beds are so comfortable. Lisa is great with communication and so helpful. We really appreciated everything she did for us.

I was a foster child of the late teddy Bartlett i.miss Tammy and Samantha and Jason Bartlett I often think of them one day I hope to see the light of Coonabarabran I miss you all all alot I was there for three months in 2002 every now and then often think of Tedd he's passed away now I miss him my name is Keith Clarence Chapman I'm thinking about a holiday to re visit Coonabarabran

Very clean cabin and all utensils. Beds are nicely done, clean and comfortable. Water is clean and drinkable out of the tap. Make sure you carry your shampoo.
Owner Lisa is a very helpful person. Will surely stay here on my next visit in town.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this park for two weeks. We have had the best experience from check in to check out. The cabin was spacious, spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The owners Lisa and Darren are the most amazing people and go above and beyond for all of their customers. The park is beautiful, the pool is clean and refreshing during the hot days and nights, cabin air-conditioning and tvs also work great. Highly recommend Getaway Tourist Park for anyone thinking of staying in Coonabarabran.

Amenities are immaculate. Good price. We forgot to put the chair they lent is in our spot as we drove off today, and the owner must've come down and did it for us. Now that's cool! The owners are great people, and if this pic isn't the best dump point in the world, what is? 😁😆

Our bushwalking club from Sydney just had 6 nights at this wonderful friendly clean tourist park. 3rd time lucky with past COVID restrictions. We all stayed in cabins except for 1 couple in their caravan. From the moment we arrived Lisa was sooo friendly and throughout the week we could see how hard she works to keep the park looking soo neat and tidy. The amenity blocks were always so clean. The cabins were clean too with everything that was required and good rates. Great location. Lisa was always accommodating with clean towels etc. we used the fire pit every night which was so much fun and the barbecue area was fabulous too. We didn’t get to meet Darren as we were advised that he had just had surgery Thank you Lisa for making us all feel so welcome and we all just fell in love with Coonabarabran’s friendliness and especially the warrambungles for hiking and scenery. We would all recommend Getaway Tourist Park 👌👌👌

Called in late last night to a very warm sincere welcome. Pleasant surprise after the welcome received at the other end of town. Spotless amenities and truck noise wasn't an issue. Was able to leave early this morning hopefully not disturbing anybody as not many others there. We hope we didn't wake the owners. Thankyou for being so polite and friendly. Take care.
