Coonabarabran Bakery

Hands down one of the best pies we've ever tasted, and was a pleasant surprise stopping here when passing through on a long drive. There were lengthy queues, but this was only a good sign, but we were served quickly and it was definitely worth the wait! Reasonably priced with a good selection on offer.

Nice and cosy atmosphere. Beautiful small bakery with a variety of sweet treats, pies, and drinks ( fresh juice, coffee, and smoothies). There are tables inside and outside. Grab a coffee with an eclair and enjoy the view of a small country town.

This is a great bakery in Coonabarabran. Great meat pies sausage rolls and cakes. Very good coffee with shots.
You can eat in or sit outside and watch the traffic go by. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking outside.

Well worth the stop, fast friendly service. The plain pie and vanilla slice I had was delicious. My husband had a sausage roll and chicken salad roll, he said it was delicious and we washed it down with a coffee, it was all very nice.

Easy place to find. Just look out for the tradies in high viz smashing the pies whilst standing out the front. Had a couple of pies for breakfast driving through town. Easy to eat, with a firm base and plenty of filling.

Best coffee experience on our trip from Melbourne to Queensland. Food was great too. Thanks for being open at 5:30am. We appreciated it so much.

Since a change in baker..(next generation), new ideas introduced. A larger range of lunch options and Gluten Free cakes which are yummy!!! Nearly always busy which speaks for itself!

Seriously a great bakery - so good we had to come back when we left Coonabarabran! First time round, some probably perfect cheese and bacon rolls (only better if we had heated them up). On the way out of Coonabarabran we grabbed some pies and this apple turn over - delicious!

We passed by this Coonarabran bakery while travelling on hwy A39. So many people buying bread, sandwiches, tartlets, etc. Good and tasty apple turnover and tartlets. Friendly staff. Must not be missed if you were ever at this area. It's just next to town post office.

They make a lovely cup of tea. There is a little shop next door you can sit in if it's raining

The Bakery catered for a dinner event for 32 people for us, and for lunch the following day! The food was incredibly, and the service was very efficient! They event let us borrow slow cookers to ensure all the food was kept warm. Thank you to the whole team- I could not recommend highly enough!

Just passing through and thought I would like a pie. So glad I stopped as the pie was delicious and there was a fabulous range to choose from. The cakes and slices looked awesome but I have to watch my weight and if I had bought I would have eaten,lol

Apart from the pub, I reckon this business is possibly the most popular small business in Coonabarabran. Excellent, fast and friendly service. They sell all bakery items - and prepared salads - you’ll find them in the fridge. They also sell birthday and anniversary cakes. Tucked away in the front of the shop is the town’s local cafe. Seating located out the front of the store. They now have new trading hours for Saturdays - open 6am to 1pm. The store is open 5:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Closed Sunday. Lots of parking out the front and at the rear.

Go here for the best cheese and ham croissant of your life!!! Really great coffee too

Great coffee and the usual bakery delights make this a must stop place in town. Even though it was busy when we came through we didn't have to wait long to be served.
