John Oxley Caravan Park

We spent the night in a nice, clean cabin that had all the amenities needed. The staff at check in were nice and helpful and provided us with all the information on things to do in the area. The park was very quiet and family oriented and a great value for the price.

This caravan park is well presented and very spacious sites. It is within walking distance of the town centre.

We spend one night here and it lovely. The amenities were clean and the area nice and quiet.

Very easy to find, big park, friendly staff, drive through camp site which was nice, powered site was great, water taps only one of them didn't leak all three others leaked but it didn't bother us. Very clean and well maintained also very affordable, we were only here for one night and we were very pleased.

Large, grassy sites, most are drive through with enough room to stay hooked up if you like, amenities are clean, staff friendly and the park is very neat and tidy.
Easy couple of minutes walk into town centre.

After a long drive from VIC, was a well needed rest and stop over at Coonabarabran. Stepped inside the WARM abyss of the cabin where staff were kind enough to leave on the heater, insulating the room. Everything you needed was there, two bedrooms - master and bunk bed with superb clean sheets, a kitchen, couch, TV and a bathroom with a shower toilet and sink. The only negative if anything would be the wifi as it were a bit hit-or-miss. Yet supplies were left, cookies, coffee & tea sachets with complimentary milk 🥛 Fiona, staff member on the phone was delightfully helpful. The Pièce de résistance was the electrical blanket.

What a lovely place to stay!
My son and I recently travelled through and stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with a dog.
We left in the morning and my husband stayed the next night with our two little pups.

Couldn’t give it a better rating!
A little bit of noise from people moving around, but the service and the cabin were just lovely, the nicest dog friendly place we’ve encountered yet!

Medium size park, most sites are drive thru's and grass, staff are helpful and courteous, amenities are kept clean, 2 minutes to CBD, recommend this park.

Stopped in for a quick overnight stay on the way to the Sunshine Coast. The cabin was perfect, it was clean and comfortable, with all the little touches provided, including tissues which very much impressed my mum (86yo). Thanks for the great accommodation, highly recommended to all.

Great park. Huge sites. You don't feel squished in and the bush setting is great. Highly recommended.

A sweet caravan park with shady trees, green grass in the middle of summer, circadas singing, kookaburras, and a dog friendly. No pool, but with all these shady trees, clean amenities, and a pleasant price, who cares! A relaxing place to chill overnight.

Fantastic place we stayed an extra night

We stayed in a cabin. We were travelling with our 2 moggies, which was no problem having them in the cabin with the owners. The cabin was very well appointed with all cooking gear if needed and also very quiet. We stayed just after Xmas and the price was really good, they didn't jack the price up during Xmas.

After 15 months Bikepacking (pushbike) around NSW, the welcome I received was wonderful, Fiona and staff couldn't of been more accommodating.
Don't quite understand the game that some RV and caravaners play in let's complain about all the things we don't like, wierd.
Maybe just a sense of entitlement instead of adventure.
I will definitely be back, loved my two night here, dated cabins but spotlessly clean.
Will be recommending to all my cycling friends. Well done Oxley.
