Large space, with 12 pages of closely typed menu, including some Malaysian dishes. Interior decor is worth a look. Food was good for a regional location. Wine list was limited, as you may expect. Overall good value for money

This was recommended to us and it certainly did not disappoint. After having spent the last 3 weeks in Asia I was a little sceptical. I don’t know why because this place if outstanding. The service was excellent, the food outstanding. Full of flavour and spice. I highly reckoned this restaurant for anyone travelling through Coonabarabran.

Best Chinese I have eaten in 30 years. Food is delicous and very authentic Chinese . Very friendly helpful staff. Great Chinese food. Made me feel I was in China. Big value for money meals. 10 out of 10.

The interior has to be experienced. The service and food is equally great. It had been far too many years between visits but I'm incredibly pleased that things are just as I left them. A must for any trip to Coonabarabran.

I have been coming here for years and whenever i am in the area I normally grab some takeaway. This time I decided to dine in and I was not disappointed, the food was exceptional. I would rate this as one of the best Chinese Restaurants in Australia!!!!

Great friendly service from the owner and two waitresses.

We ate sizzling mango king prawns and chicken and special fried rice, followed by banana fritters and ice cream.

The main course was very tasty and tender. Rice was cooked to perfection.

Banana fritters were very tasty too.

We would certainly recommend eating at this venue and would go again if we were passing through.

A stand out NSW country town Chinese. Fork only - No chopsticks offered. We landed late (9pm) on a Friday night and it was clear that the staff wanted to get home- but they were super friendly and the food was great. And it was kinda amusing overhearing their banter. Rainbow beef was the favourite. Oh and the building and decor is something else entirely. Wine was $5 by the glass! Be warned though - the eftpos machine is turned off at 9:15pm (like what?) so you need cash if paying after that time. Otherwise, couldn’t go wrong.

This place is a perfectly preserved time capsule of an Australian country town Chinese restaurant from the 1990s. The tofu and veggies were tasty, greasy, no holding back on the msg. Amazing.

Best Mongolian sizzle plates in Oz...do yourself a favor and eat here. Thanks to the lightening fast staff and amazing chef

My first time here and WOW! I've never seen anything like this before!!! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is fantastic! The staff are wholesome and friendly.

The meals are a good size and quality of the cooking/falvour is amazing, you can't go wrong here!

The drinks selection is great as well. :)

What a find - staying overnight in town we grabbed dinner at this amazing little (large) place. the Food was excellent and staff were great ! Best lamb and Sweet and Sour Pork I have had in ages. Special fried rice was perfect and it brought back so many memories from my childhood when we used to go out and eat at the local Chinese once a month. Prices are very fair IMO and servings were large. I did miss the lazy Susan and chopsticks though.

4 of us had a banquet. Service was great staff friendly and attentive. Food was delicious & owner came out to see how we were enjoying our food. Wonderful evening

Definitely the best Asian restraunt my wife and I have been to in years.We live in Sydney and travel a lot. We are really fussy about our food. How a Chineese restraunt in a small town like this can produce and serve such high quality food is beyond belief. The Staff are also ultra friendly and efficient. I wish we had something like this in Balmain.

Love it best Chinese, my deceased old man reckoned it stood up against the Flower Drum every time he called through town. We ate there 2 weeks ago and have planned our return to BNE to include another visit.

Took a recommendation from a local on a journey from Queensland to Victoria & so glad we followed up! The meal was fresh, tasty, satisfying & great value, so much better than we expected from a country town Chinese restaurant. After seeing what an amazing restaurant it was, sorry we didn't eat in!

Was a lovely surprise. Food was good and plentiful. The staff did a very good job on a busy night. Lovely decor. Tablecloths whipped off and replaced as soon as the table was vacated.

Came here on a weekend night. Wasn’t expecting to much but the food was GREAT! Great value for money and really tasty. Would def eat here again! Service was also great.

I've read the negative reviews and I can see these people haven't dined in many authentic Chinese restaurants around Australia. One must understand that the style and taste of all Chinese food varies alot depending on where in China the chef comes from, and the same applies to many other asian foods to say the least.

We ordered four dishes and were very pleased with the quality, size and tastiness of all the meals served. The interior has a very authentic Chinese decor and is very clean. All staff were curtious and very helpful and I certainly would recommend this Chinese Restaurant to anyone.

Very clean & co-vid safe premises, although I only ordered take away, whilst waiting, took the opportunity to check out the restaurant, as it was my first time there, I was impressed with the interior decor & the seating arrangement, I think it's also licensed, I visited on a Sunday about 6.00pm, the staff were friendly & service was quick, meals were very good, situated on the main road leading into town, there's angle parking out front, if staying in town or passing through, it's worth a visit.
