We had the omakase set menu. Everything was excellent and the service was great too. The toothfish was brilliant. The only thing that could be improved was the rice in the urchin nigiri, which needed to stick together more and seemed a bit warm, however the urchin itself was great. Will definitely return.

Where do I start here ..
The waiter's were extremely kind, professional, helpful and made the whole experience delightful.
Food, wow. Amazing quality with surprising amount of quantity. A starter, main and side was the perfect amount. The truffles were excellent, the Wagyu was so tender and delicious. Raw salmon which you can taste the freshness. The wait times were also reasonable.
Price, yeah it's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Well worth the cost, especially for a special night out. (This is a nice restaurant!)
I will definitely be coming back here. The whole experience was enjoyable and left very happy. The atmosphere was lovely without being really loud (could easily talk to my partner). Thank you Saké!

A girlfriend and I came here for dinner on a Sunday night which wasn't too busy (no reservation needed). The staff were nice and efficient with service. The food was so delicious! Expensive so it's what you would expect but a lovely dining experience. The sashimi was amazing and the cauliflower dish is larger than expected.

Amazing establishment to eat. Contemporary Japanese food was a delight. The staff had copious amounts on knowledge about the origins and aspects to each dish. Great atmosphere, beautiful food. Definitely worth every penny!

Best fish and seafood you can get in Brisbane! Even better, prepared by a pro from Japan! Everything tasted so good we’ll keep coming back for more!!

All the food was excellent, great menu (wagyu gyoza, popcorn shrimp both so good). The tuna I had from the sushi bar was really good quality. The Dragon Egg dessert was so much fun and the staff went the extra mile for us. Perfect end to our day.

Wow, this is a fine dining experience. As a frequent customer of the Sydney restaurant my expectations were high. I was not disappointed. In fact I might put this one slightly in front in terms of the specials and the view is delightful. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and good service,
All foods presentation was good,
Everything was good
However Sashimi was just ok, not expected fine dining quality I guess,
My best pick is green tea ice cream dessert and karaage bao,
Green tea ice cream was the best which was not too strong flavour of green tea, even everyone who love the green tea ice cream liked it,
I will come back this restaurant when miss good quality of Japanese food!

We got the lemon yuzu oysters, sashimi, the chicken karaage bao, the shumai dumplings, the salmon tacos, the pork belly and the Brussels sprouts. We loved every dish and couldn’t pick a favourite.

I gave it 5 because the food was spectacular. the private dining room was lovely too. The service was good and certainly nothing to really complain about. Did I mention the food was brilliant... The music was not matched to the restaurant and it would have been nice to hear Japanese style music while we dined. instead we had loud modern pop blaring above us. great for the young ones perhaps, but not for a dining experience to match the food. We did ask for the speaker in our room to be tuned down, but the took about 40 minutes to eventuate. The light was also very bright, just don't look up. Dimmers make a great evening experience. but alas, that function was not possible. I would come back for sure, just for the sushi and sashimi. and well all the food. Do come here and enjoy wonderful Japanese food. Coming form Victoria the Japanese style in Melbourne is very different, You feel like you are in Japan, Here I felt like I might have been on the gold coast.

Relaxed dining with delicious Japanese food with some modern twists. The meal highlights...sashimi combo, popcorn sushi roll, ceviche taco, karaago bao and the the Japanese whiskey ice cream. Also, if you love your whiskey, they have whiskey flights, a tasting plate of three whiskies - House of Suntory brings together three great Japanese Whiskies.

This restaurant truly is my favourite Japanese cuisine restaurant in Brisbane. The staff greet you with open arms. A waiter/waitress is always ready to serve without you even having to ask, which shows the prestigious level of organisation that takes place in this highly regarded establishment. The variety of seating choices, from the traditional Japanese seating arrangement, to private rooms and just the average table and chairs, this restaurant makes sure to provide customers with options. The panoramic views that are visible from almost all corners of the restaurant provide a luxurious feel to the restaurant.
As for the food, the popcorn shrimp is undoubtedly a go-to hit for fussy eaters. The steak, though on the pricey side, was succulent and the truffle oil sauce that came with it (probably why the steak dish was spicy) added rich savoury notes allowing for the steak to have more definition.
Overall the atmosphere and the staff were more than welcoming, with the food being simply spectacular and really showcasing Japanese cuisine.

Amazing Japanese food. We went here for lunch as a family with 2 young kids. The service was great and the food was delicious. Although it is on the more expensive side for a meal, you can tell the food is incredibly fresh and of higher quality that your standard sushi restaurant. The desserts were definitely a winner for our kids.

Always a nice atmosphere with great views. Food items are a small portion but its quality over quantity and are all delicious and artistic.
Some interesting cocktails using Japanese whiskeys and sake, a must try.
Definitely worth the experience.
