Wild Canary Bistro

Been coming here for more than 3 years. Incredible experience as always. The wildlife is beautiful. The plants, which practically envelop you, are refreshing and soothing on the mind. If you like lizards/reptiles, this is your place. If you are a reptile, this is your place. Some of the food is sourced from the beautiful organic kitchen garden. Good service. And the food, don't even get me started. 5/5 amazing place.

Beautiful setting and gardens.

Meals were around $25 to $37 each and then drinks on top pushed the cost pp up but it was still good value and a lovely atmosphere and setting.

We had the cauliflower tacos, the breakfast, salmon and duck confit. All yummy.

The service and wait staff were amazing! Kudos to them… the setting and atmosphere was great too and it’s got a nice vibe. Very clean and well presented. Out of all of our food nothing was really seasoned as I felt the Nasi Goreng was deconstructed and not mixed with balancing flavours. The confit duck leg was very dry and the mash seemed to be made a while ago. Pie of the day was great, chicken and leek and the chips to die for some of the best 🍟 👍🏼 big believer in not running down a small business so the staff up front got it the five stars with room to improve for the food for sure.

First and foremost, the room was exquisitely adorned with fresh flowers, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. As someone running a workshop where the energy of the space is crucial, the beautiful presentation of the room was of utmost importance, and you nailed it perfectly.

Despite the bustling nature of the restaurant, which is always the case with a fantastic cafe, our room was tucked away, providing a tranquil and undisturbed environment for our workshop. This seclusion was precisely what I needed to ensure a focused and positive energy flow throughout the session.

I must commend your team for their exceptional attentiveness. The girls were consistently checking on us, ensuring we had everything we needed, and even making sure our drinks were replenished. Their dedication to customer service did not go unnoticed and contributed significantly to the overall success of the event.

Now, let's talk about the food – divine is an understatement. The catering was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It added an extra layer of sophistication and abundance to the entire atmosphere of the workshop.

Set amongst the Brookfields Garden nursery, Wild Canary was a great venue for Brunch. Classic Breakfast was very tasty. Coffee was first class. Staff were very helpful and friendly, even when our 2yo accidentally spilled her milk shake. Browsing through the nursery and specialty shops was a pleasant afterwards exit.

A beautiful place, I could have spent the whole day here!! Caught up with a friend for brunch, then spent an hour browsing through the plants and gift shop. Found lots of new plants to put on my future wish list! The food was incredible too, I had the duck and my mouth is watering just thinking about it

It's a lovely bistro planted in the middle of a beautiful garden nursery. The food was excellent and I was told that a lot of the fresh produce used in their delicious fare is grown on site, in the nursery. The coffee was also very nice and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food.

An absolutely incredible place! The people are delightful, the cakes are exquisite, and the atmosphere is truly inviting. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. It's a five-star experience all the way!

This is a nursery with a restaurant, a nice causy environment. Food tastes awesome. Good.for large gathering with family and friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming. When we went, their in the outside sign said they were fully booked, but we asked anyway for a table, and they were able to accommodate us.

The cake cabinet is to die for and the menu is delightfully different. But book ahead - it’s very popular with locals.

I cannot thank the team at Wild Canary enough! I wanted a lovely, care free breakfast for 10 for my 28th birthday and gosh did they deliver! Everything was seamless, including booking (accommodating for allergies), food being brought out super quick and everyone who served us was so friendly! Plus, my raw cake was DELICIOUS! Thanks for making my birthday so enjoyable 😊

A culinary delight awaits anyone who visits here. The food is superb and plentiful. You won't leave hungry. The staff team are excellent, being professional, courteous and friendly. Very welcoming and attentive.

On this occasion we didn't get to try the beautiful looking cakes or desserts. But that only means that we'll have to return for another visit very soon.

My husband and I are fans of Wild Canary for life. We had our wedding at Wild Canary, a small intimate affair and it was the perfect day. Event coordinators Kate and Claire were superb. From the first time we walked in to meet them, we knew we were in good hands and they were people who actually cared about us as a couple and got to know us, not just another number to push through like some of the other venues we looked at. They were so easy to work with, responsive, accomodating and helped us through every step of the way. Wild Canary also shared a lot of our values, for example cutting down on waste and emissions, and they take their food seriously - not only is everything incredibly delicious, but is sourced locally and some of it even grown in their kitchen garden! We've watched the kitchen staff on several occasions come out to the garden and snip some herbs and greens, so we know that it's not just lip service. We married underneath the gorgeous epic Morton Bay fig tree, surrounded by flowers by the incomparable Lynn at Fig Flowers. The service the day of the wedding was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the cake - oh the cake. Stunningly decorated and it tasted even better. All the guest were saying that it was not only the best wedding cake they've ever had, but the best cake, period, they've ever had. Every detail was perfect and we owe it all to them. We cannot thank them enough. If you're thinking about having your wedding at Wild Canary - or even just going for brunch (have I mentioned that the food is incredible?) you will not regret it.

Treated myself to a sweet breakfast... it was divine! Friendly service, beautiful setting & a friendly bearded dragon (I think that is what it was) visiting the tables. Just lovely

Beautiful environment with its own garden and nursery. Very delicious food. Place is busy but staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again. Can't wait to try the cake!

A delicious experience, quite possibly the best value fancy meal I've ever had. Pulled pork over pear and rhubarb sauce was to die for... I just wish I had room for the enormous slices of cake. Well at least I have a reason to go back. When we arrived we were asked to wait 15minutes for a table which meant we could Have a stroll around the kitchen garden and the nursery. It only took ten minutes to get a table. So friendly and tidy it was a pleasure to eat there. It's my new favorite breakfast or lunch destination.

Wild canary Bistro is tucked away inside a nursery, just follow the signs. The food is presented beautifully and with care. The flavours go beautifully together. Their menu is quite extensive catering for different taste. Seating inside and out and perfect for children and families. Being situated image a nursery, there is an edible garden next to the cafe where you can learn about what you are eating.

A crowd of us came for a friend's 70th birthday and had a fabulous time. Excellent food, generous portions. Staff were lovely.

Lovely place for coffee and lunch, and I enjoyed paintings as well as flowers ~
