Suburban Gem
We had a delicious and tasty Friday night meal at this suburban restaurant. We ordered a pad Thai and crispy prawns with garlic and nahm jim sauce and they cooked it to suit our taste (less sweet & Thai hot). The result was a truly tasty and authentic Thai meal! The prices are reasonable and the portions are excellent - and BYO is a plus!!

LOVELY Thai restaurant, pleasant staff and a nice atmosphere, the food is made fresh and fast. They have a fantastic lunch special menu with all your favorites dishes. I had the Massaman Curry and my wife had Tofo and veggie stirfry with basil and chili. The place was clean and well presented and is spacious enough for large groups.

Every dish I've had from here has been great. Really yummy. Reasonable prices and top notch service from enthusiastic staff. The constant stream of patrons shows many agree with me. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered the chicken pad thai and chicken fried rice. Coming from someone who loves Thai food, both meals was delicious 😋 also would be nice to add in a vegetable in the pad thai, that would top it off for me.
I will definitely go back there for more. Next time I will try other dishes.

My number one go to for Thai.. Have been going here for year now, great experience, staff are alway accommodating an food standard has always been excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants fantastic Thai at a fair price. 5 stars from me!!

If you're looking for restaurants, located in Morningside, and selling Thai food, why not try the aptly named: "Morningside Thai Restaurant". While I have this establishment a strong 0/5 for naming originality, I award a strong 5 stars for food! I remember walking in, not feeling too hungry, thinking: "Let's just order 1 curry and some crispy chicken" for 2 people as a small meal. When the curry alone came out, I knew I'd ordered more than I could bargain for. The beef masaman was amazing, and the crispy chicken was supreme. Great job guys, and I enjoyed finishing the masaman for breakfast the next day. Love your work.

Great service. Fabulous food. Casual outdoor dining in a lovely space. Inside dining too. Our table had Curry puffs, light and tasty. Drunken Noodles with Tofu. Pad see ew beef. Calamari. All good

Food has always been amazing. I would love to say i have a top dish but honestly they are soo good. Buy i do have a bias opinion of the sweet n sour chicken just so good. Ive had it for lunch today at work and already thinking i want it for dinner tonight.... so expect another order hahaha

We have been regulars at Morningside Thai for approximately 15 years. Honestly, one of the best Thai restaurants!! I’ve moved houses multiple times, and still keep coming back! A Thai restaurant opened around the corner from us, but we still choose to drive 15mins to get our food from here!

The beef massaman is amazing, beautiful soft meat. There have been times where the beef isn’t as tender as it usually is, but this isn’t often. Still really tasty. Our other favourite is the Pad Prik King. Yum!

Friendly staff, fast service, tasty food. Highly recommend!

The staff are lovely. The lunch deals are really affordable. I have ordered from here 20+ times & it is consistently great.

Beautiful food, fantastic service. We had the Green crispy pork, which was absolutely beautiful. It came with broccoli and beans in a wonderful sauce. We also had the crispy chicken, which was also beautifully cooked. The great mocktails to drink were great too. The price is very reasonable. We could not fault this wonderful restaurant. You now have new regular customers 🙏
