Windaroo Tavern

Went here with the family. They have a great playground. The kids saw it and ran off without asking. It was super easy to watch them from the tables. You can sit and chat while having them in your vision. You can order from your table using your phone. So it's easy to let the kids keep playing. The kids got hot chips which were delicious. We had to get extra because they enjoyed them so much. I got the nachos. Probably the best nachos I have had in a long time.

I recently had my mum’s 40th birthday celebration here and the crew were awesome!
We had a lot of traditional things happening while they were trying to serve the food and yet they knew to wait for a bit and were always coming to ask me questions about when I want the food to come out, if there was anything else I needed for the night and letting me know what they were doing next as well as time frames so that I was kept in the loop while I had so much going on!
Tiarnee, Terry and the rest of the team on that night were awesome!
Will definitely go again and recommend to anyone!

The best pub I have found since moving to the Brisbane area 7 months ago.
The food was top-notch, beers were reasonably priced and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
It also has an indoor and outdoor area for the kids to keep entertained as well.
I will definitely be returning soon

Great meal. Pork spare ribs fantastic. The eye fillet was cooked to how we like. Staff are fantastic. Sharon is so friendly. Nothing is a problem for her. All the staff are great.

For the men. All you need to know are that the portions here are great. If you're considering the chicken wings : they're spicy! I wasn't expecting it but worth an ask if you're not sure.

Absolutely outstanding service and quality food from the kitchen !! Our beautiful young waitress Tomica was outstanding , very welcoming and although we had arrived towards the end of the night she was very accommodating in processing our last minute dinner orders .

It's been a while since we visited here, but the buffet is gone and probably has been for a while. The portions were, sadly, small compared to other taverns. The prices weren't cheap, so I had assumed the meals and portions would reflect that, so I was prepared to pay up. I was disappointed.

The food, however, was tasty.

Went here for dinner last night. Food was great, didn't have to wait long for it. Friendly staff and great place to take the kids. Drinks are a little pricey tho.

We have called in for a bite to eat on our way home and notice a massive change with service and food (it's always been good, but today was exceptional). Photo is of hubby's steak sammidge and tasted just as good as it looked!!

Came here for the first time with friends. We had a really great time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were priced affordably. There is plenty of parking outside and there is also a drive through bottle shop. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

Love how you get free salad bar with main meals great value for money. The staff are always nice and helpful. Easy place to take our 3 year old & baby. Would be nice to have a new menu or menu items every so often.

Unplanned visit for lunch was absolutely amazing. The staff where friendly, prompt and professional the food is delicious and great value

We were there at lunch time. The service was quick and friendly. The food was good and I had a very nice glass of rose'. We will be back.

We held our Aunty's funeral Wake at Windaroo Tavern as it was her (and our late mothers) favorite venue for our catchups over the past decade or so. The food was perfect as always, even considering no more salad bar due to Covid restrictions. We love the atmosphere here as it is always comfortable and relaxed and the staff are all lovely. They allowed us to do a Tab for our table which allowed for the entire bill to be paid in one go at the end :) Definitely recommend.

Just moved to the area and was extremely impressed with the service and food and atmosphere was sensational

Tee on the tab operator sports bar is just amazing so busy on her own and handling huge amount of people u have a great employee and assert.

1st time here as we were in the area and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff are perfect, couldn't ask for better service and wow value for money food and drinks. Free membership too. Probably the best value tavern/venue I've been to in a long time. Food wasn't amazing but it was certainly good and well worth the money. Thanks owner and team

Nice atmosphere, clean and well presented, staff were very nice and accommodating. Food was quite alright (especially for the price). Good solid pub meals with a few different extras. The schnitzel was quite good (not just a coles "packet schnitzel" like other pubs do sometimes). Will definitely be back here again.

Food is amazing

Went with a friend, for his birthday meal. The atmosphere is great friendly staff willing to help. Always clean and tidy. I've been coming here for a number of years. You can join for free, when its your birthday 2 weeks after you and yr guests get 50%off total bill, plus 25% off in the bottle shop if you spend $100.00. Great insensitive to join for free. We odered the steak with pork toppers came with salad and chips. Both meals were $21.95 for 2 meals. Steak was cooked to perfection!
