An unforgettable teppanyaki night at Misono, JW Marriott. The chefs are entertainers as much as they are culinary experts, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Every dish, from the sushi to the steak, was exceptional, and the interactive cooking added fun to the delicious meal. The service was outstanding, making the dining experience both personable and memorable. Highly recommend Misono for a unique and engaging meal in Brisbane.

The food was amazing. I opted for the sushi, sashimi and tempura, and I wasn't disappointed. Very friendly and prompt service and delicious and fresh produce ! Thanks for a great meal.

We dined her on the weekend for my Fiancé’s 30th birthday dinner. We booked out the private room & what an experience that was! It’s a $1,600 minimum spend for the room but with 16 seats, that was done easily with food & cocktails.

We got two chefs for our room, and they were HILARIOUS & great entertainers! They had us laughing and dancing throughout our whole dinner.

The food is incredible & cocktails & drinks are delish! Make sure you try the Japanese plum wine when you are there.

Initially when you look at the prices of the food, it can be a bit alarming but after our dinner, every person said it was worth every cent. As you aren’t just paying for the amazing food, you are paying for the one of a kind entertainment that comes with it.

I had been to this restaurant many times before but half of our group had never tried it. After the dinner, everyone who hadn’t been here before said it was the best dining experience they had ever had!

Over the past 15 years, I have been here about 10 times & I am never disappointed!

Love this teppanyaki restaurant. It is located in JW Marriott gold coast. The food was and a very friendly and skillful hibachi. The price was not cheap, it was indeed expensive since it is inside a five star hotel, but it was worth the experience. This was one of our best food on our trip in australia.

Top notch restaurant, recommended by our friends. Excellent service and great food. So much and so full at the end of the imperial banquet. We also ordered sashimi platter and oysters. I'm not usually an Oyster eater but I really love the ones from here no metallic taste at all. Great atmosphere the chefs make the ambience fun. You pay for the excellent service and food, great for occasions. Thank you we will come back again!

What an experience. Although pricey, there are few places where I can say it is more than justified. Excellent service and food, I reccomend all experience Teppanyaki at least once. Jojean was an excellent chef!

It's absolutely amazing. 5 stars all round what a great dining experience. This was one of the best highlights of my trip to Queensland, so good. Staff were fantastic. The chef we had was fantastic. Absolutely a must do. Thanks to everyone at Misono

We popped in for dinner and didn't need a booking - we sat in the sushi bar section at the front as we just wanted a casual meal. We ordered tempura prawns, mixed sashimi and torched salmon nigiri. Everything was amazingly fresh and tasty and the food was made right in front of us. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our waiter was lovely too. The aircon is a bit fresh, take a cardigan

This is a teppanyaki restaurant so it’s never going to be a cheap option for eating. However, here you money goes a long way. Firstly as you enter you notice the atmosphere to have a genuine Japanese feel to it, complete with the sounds of other guests laughing and cheering as their chef dazzles them with his juggling and dexterity whilst cooking fabulous food. Secondly having booked a sitting the staff are there ready to take you to your table, where they hand you a very comprehensive menu which is easy to follow, and includes a huge drinks menu. The food quality is superbly fresh and tasty and is continually cooked and delivered to your plate. One of the best Teppanyaki restaurants I have visited outside of Japan.

Misono made the night Amazing! Went in for dinner with my husband, fresh Sashimi and the teppanyaki portions were huge! Experienced a great service and an entertaining chef throughout the entire meal. Definitely will be back again.

Holy moly, I’ve never had so much fun eating before in my life.
We booked a table for 15, a surprise party for my husband.
We were split across 2 tables both with a chef.
The food, service and tunes were great. The chef was hilarious and made us all almost choke from laughter.
I will be returning for my own birthday next year!

We have visited Misono a number of times and they always deliver. In previous visits we chose to sit at the Teppan Yaki tables and enjoy the show, but this time we chose a la carte and sat at the sushi bar. The service was great and the sushi chef who has been at the restaurant for 26 years is a fun time. He even took our photo. Check out this beauty of a sushi roll (my wife’s favorite spicy tuna roll) is next level. And we ordered the Teppan seafood extravaganza which was delicious. Terrific sake menu and an amazing atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed!!

We were checked in JW Marriott and decided not to venture out for dinner on our last night before our flight back home to Melbourne the next morning.

Was looking forward to the teppanyaki and I wasn’t disappointed but the best part of the whole thing was the experience. The chef was entertaining and really engaged the guests.

Special mention for me is the ebi tempura. It reminded me of the one served at my most favorite Japanese restaurant my family always ate at since I was a kid back in my hometown. I’ve been looking for tempura like that for a long time and this just hit all the right spots for me.

Not too many photos of the food as I was too busy laughing and eating and enjoying with my family.

Such an excellent teppanyaki show! Our chef’s performance was incredible and he brought so much fun to the table. Really appreciate his elevation of live cooking and making our experience unique (So sorry that I forgot his name).

5 STAR TEPPANYAKI GRILL
What we loved:
- Cherry Blossom banquet. Prawns, beef, chicken, fried rice, scallops, salad, bug tails, fish in a bag and vegetables.
- The entertainment of the chef.
- The option of being able to order single dishes
- Food being cooked in front of you
- The service
- The music
What can be improved:
- Doors for dinner open at 5.30pm, but we were 10 minutes early and it would have been nice to come in and sit at the bar for a drink.
OVERALL
Amazing food and a brilliant night. It was a little on the expensive side ($88 per meal), But we booked through first table and got 50% off our meal.
But will return again.

First time in the Gold Coast and our first group teppanyaki experience. The experience was amazing as the chef puts on a show that entertains the guests. Its not gonna be a quiet meal im telling you but worth the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good selection of banquets. Had the Surfers Paradise banquet and it was good with fried rice and ordered the spicy tuna sushi and dragon sushi. This should be the top 1 restaurant not the brazilian bbq as per tripadvisor in my opinion.

Definitely the best teppanyaki I have ever been to! Have been to a few in the past where all the food just tastes the same as the previous dish but this place was really good, a lot of unique flavours. The seafood was cooked perfectly and so very fresh. Highly recommend going for the Wagyu option also. The only downside is that it does get extremely loud in the restaurant and can be a little off-putting.
