The Anchorage Port Stephens Hotel & Spa

Absolutely stunning place. Rooms were gorgeous Hampton style, ours looked straight out to the Marina and harbour. Everything was perfect. The staff were all so friendly and only too eager to help. The Buffet breakfast was amazing and had everything you could possibly want. Food in the dining room was top notch. It was a truly lovely stay.

My wife and I went there for a relaxing get away and we were not disappointed. The location is premier. A beautiful view of the Bay and the Marina. The staff were all brilliant. They were extremely polite, attentive and professional. The atmosphere is amazing and all the guests seemed to be having a great time. I know we did.
I would thoroughly recommend The Anchorage to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

My kids and I just spent 4 days here. It was honestly the most relaxing 4 days.
The outlook is beautiful, the rooms are a good size, the beds very comfortable, the staff are so friendly and very obliging.
The breakfast is by far the best hotel/resort breakfast I have experienced.
The snacks/food from the pool bar menu are also very delicious.
We will be back and I would recommend The Anchorage to everyone.

Service is truly 5 stars, from friendly front reception staff to the remarques the staff and the most friendly the pool staff with the exceptional service
The very elegant touches such as watermelon and ice blocks give to everyone around the pool is an amazing elegant gesture.
Couple of things lack for the outdoor area, which is showers and a water tap to rinse off the sand from the near by beach.
The open buffet breakfast is one of the best I have experienced around Australia.
The rooms are great, with a very elegant gesture of a bottle of water and chocolate when you walk in.. and wine depending on your package.
The room lacks and hanging line for your wet cloth, specially after the pool.
The reception area with its sitting area is really nice with a lot of thoughts spent and money.
The gym needs a proper upgrade and a toilet and shower close to it.
Overall can’t fault the place and truly highly recommended.

Hamptons-style luxury hotel and marina at Nelson Bay-Corlette near Port Stephens. We absolutely loved our two-night stay. Staff very friendly, restaurant wonderful especially the fabulous buffet breakfast which is not to be missed, including excellent barista-made coffees. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, luxurious bedding, bottled water, tea and coffee-making facilities, marina-facing small balcony. Take a nice walk along Corlette beach and around the top of the marina sea wall. Luxury motor and sailing yachts moored in the marina provide the hotel the air of opulence and glamour. Three-hour drive from Sydney. Highly recommended.

Beautiful resort in Nelson Bay Area. We stayed here for 5 days. Really enjoyed our time here. Buffet breakfast was included and service was excellent. We were lucky to see dolphins in the Bay Area.

From start the finish this was an exceptional experience, holy and Amanda were amazing , and the attention to detail was brilliant! The best massage I have seriously ever had . I will definitely come back here without a doubt .

I love this place. The views are extraordinary, the bars and lounge areas have great ambience and the staff are the most polite, kind and helpful I have experienced at any venue I have visited in New South Wales.

Amazing place to stay at. Highly recommended. We were very pleased with our stay.

We loved everything about our two-nights stay at The Anchorage. We were there to celebrate our 9 years anniversary and we had the best time. The room was quiet and clean with a lovely view on the marina. We also really appreciate to relax at the bar after a day of exploring, we enjoyed reading near the fireplace at night. Breakfast is also great, we enjoyed being able to do our own pressed juice.
We’ll definitely come back if we ever are back to Australia!

Beautiful setting and the rooms were immaculate. Our balcony was facing the sea and the view was magnificent. We had a really enjoyable time but it was a shame that we did not use the swimming pool as the water was freezing

Nelson bay in general is a very quite are but just remember that shops and restaurants close very early so make your plans before 8.30

Superb accommodation, can't be faulted Breakfast is 5 star, even by world standards. Dinner menu at night is limited. Needs a couple of dinner specials. If you're staying several nights the dinner menu doesn't have enough variety. Overall fantastic.

I stayed at the Anchorage for two amazing days the 17/2/23-18/2/23 it was a very relaxing/ pleasant experience.The room was at a superior standard on par with hotels that I have stayed in around the world. The room had a beautiful view of the beach, pools and marina with an extremely comfortable bed with beautiful pillows and fantastic air conditioning.
The staff were very tentative and the food at the Anchorage was great. The Anchorage is a 2 minute walk to the beach but I enjoyed relaxing around the pool sipping on a cocktail soaking in the view. It is only a 12min drive to Nelsons bay shops or a $20 taxi ride.
In my opinion I would recommend this hotel for a good weekend escape.
Many thanks to all the staff at the Anchorage especially the Manager whom organized a bottle of champagne for my friend and I and a welcoming card on our arrival.

Beautiful hotel. Really nice and welcoming staff. Rooms were clean and with all amenities that you may want and more, including minibar. The pool was awesome with very convenient opening times from 8am to 8pm. They give you towels which completed the great pool side relaxing area, where you can enjoy drinks from the pool bar. Definitely coming back!!!!!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic from the moment we stepped in till we left.
Highly recommend and would definitely come back.
