Honestly would give higher stars if possible they were beyond busy when we ordered they gave an honest waiting time. We used the opportunity to knick over and grab a few things from another store returned to find a kind staff member waiting out front with our piping hot food and icy cold drinks. Everything was great. Portions were spot on for the price and the food was delicious. Will return and will recommend.

Great spot to get takeaway if you’re down at Bagnalls. Perfect old school fish and chips run by actual locals. Reasonable prices and they have lolly bags. Friendly service!

Corlette Store is no doubt the BEST take away shop in Port Stephens.
It’s a family owned and operated business that does the best burgers, fish & chips, chicken schnitzel and other take away snacks and meals.
If you live or are visiting the Nelson Bay Area of Port Stephen do yourself a favour and go to the Corlette Store.

Got a couple of burgers, so impressed, the buns were not typical,but rather a flat bun, toasted perfectly,
everything was exactly as we ordered. Top notch guys, we will be back

Really good flathead and chips!! The service was excellent and we enjoyed it sitting on the chairs outside, initially braving the cold but afterwards the sun shone and it was magical. Thank God for his mercies!!

We got told about the Corlette store so we cold in and had hamburger and chips and a steak burger as well I found the staff to be friendly and the little store had that great little atmosphere end soft serve ice cream milkshake as well if you're going past call in and grab one of their famous works burgers I would highly recommend them and it's were well worth the dropping from mwh part 2 after eating the works burger this is how we describe I was going to take a photo of it unwrap picked up with two hands looked at it and started to eat because it looks so nice then I realised I forgot to take the photo I couldn't help it was that night so just keep needing me the bacon is nice and well done I had steak and it was like melting in the mouth overall it's one of the best burgers I've had a lot on my thank you. And looking forward to coming back from mwh and by the way if you Drive down the road 100 yards it has tables chairs view that you couldn't get much better than that mwh

Totally epic burgers and delicious chips. I don't leave reviews often, but I had to leave one for these guys. Best burger in Australia by far. I had the works and my kids had the kids. Even got some free drinks buying the tradie pack. Huge thumbs up!

I read reviews prior to ordering, they were true. Great burgers and chips, very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit, we will be returning again and again!! My wife picked up our order and also commented on how pristine the store was. Great find.

If you are looking for the best Hamburgers in Port Stephens go to Corlette General Store. On holidays up here for 2weeks and drove there twice great burgers and yummy Chips. I am type 2 diabetic and to my surprise these burgers do not spike my sugars this is good for me don’t know about others.

A small family owned grocery store/general store/restaurant that makes one of the best bacon and egg rolls I have ever eaten.

The people who run this store are lovely and they have coffee here alongside a menu of breakfast and lunch items like burgers, sandwiches, fish & chips and so on. They have plant milk as well for their coffees. I ordered the bacon & egg roll and it was $8 for what was a fabulous crusty / flaky / chewy bun filled with grilled bacon and a runny egg. It was divine :-)

Happily come here any day just for a breakfast sandwich ;-)
