Hakataya Ramen Surfers Paradise

Ramen was delicious. Rich soup with generous portion. The marinated vege goes very well with the ramen.
Self service water on tap was 👍🏻

Honestly best ramen I've had and it's super cheap. The broth is food for the soul. I'd strongly recommend if in surfers paradise.

A simple menu that will delight the most discerning ramen tastes. There are many newer ramen restaurants... though in the heart of Surfers Paradise this is by far and away the best for price..freshness quality and taste.

Really good. Broth was good, not too thick nor too thin, just fit in my taste. Not too salty either. All just good. The price was good as well. Authentic like it said..

Very tasty Japanese style ramen with very reasonable prices and blazing fast service. We have tried the nagahama ramen, miso spicy ramen and shio spicy ramen. All very nice and they're only mildly spicy so can be enjoyed by most. If you're particularly hungry I recommend ordering extra pork with your ramen on top of the already included extra ramen.

This place brings me back to my time in Osaka. The ramen is excellent and the staff are so friendly.

Disregard all negative reviews as they don't know what they are talking about. if you check out the negative reviews you will notice majority comes from a certain type of people and these same type of people will whine about ramen over in Japan (I've seen it happen)

I always make sure to drop by Hatakaya whenever I’m in Gold Coast. Their ramen is super authentic and extremely tasty even after so many years. Not to mention, the portion is big for the price you pay for. Also, they give free extra noodle! That’s service right there.
For the same price we pay at franchise ramen shops, we can only get half the portion and the taste can’t even compare to Hatakaya Ramen.
The only bad thing I can say about Hatakaya is, they refuse to open new shops outside of QLD 😭

It is always one of my favourite ramen place. Always love that free extra noodles to keep my belly full. Sadly though they can’t open as much as they used to be.

Had the original and spicy ramen, pork broth are light and easy to digest. Each bowl came with Japanese veg side dish that complement the ramen nicely. Cups, water and cutlery are self service in a corner station. Been here 6 years ago and glad to come back as we revisited Surfers Paradise. Love this joint ❤

Great authentic Japanese ramen! One of the best in Gold coast. Less frills in store but quick good service and nothing but tasteful ramen. They offered free noodles as well.

This is a franchise, but being that it’s located in a lane way, it definitely gives a small Japanese lane way feel to it.
That mustard and broth were amazing to pair with ramen that’s cooked to Al Dante

We always come here when we visit the Gold Coast. This was the first place we tried ramen and ever since we have been hooked. If you love ramen you have to try this place.

We regularly visit Haktaya Ramen in Surfers Paradise and never leave dissapointed. The ramen is the best on the Gold Coast and the customer service is awesome. We are always greeted with a welcome and a warm smile - CK is one of our favourite staff members as he always goes out of his way to make sure everything is ok. Thanks Matt & Olivia

Their ramen is really good, and kudos for the extra noodle. The place is easy to find. You can chill, eat and drink beer here.
