Moorings on Cavill

Very short walking distance to everything surfers paradise has to offer without being kept awake all night by the clubs. Location is ideal! Pool, spa sauna! Private street to turn into. Would recommend!

Really great rooms, super clean and spacious. Great access to Cavil Ave, far enough away from the clubs, and just near the sunset cruised.

We had a very good experience at Moorings. The location is great and the staff were friendly. It's a good spot for a family to stay. The heated pool is lovely. One of the only down sides is that it gets quite noisy at night on the weekend. Overall, I would highly recommend it. Since we left we've wanted to come back.

The location is perfect. The apartment was very clean and well presented, not necessarily recently refurbished but very clean and comfortable. Excellent size for a family as well.

We were in a superior 2 bed apartment which was amazing. Service too was fantastic, with a lovely welcome gift on arrival. Pool and spa area was awesome. Location was so close to the Surfers Paradise action, which was great, but did get noisy at times...worth it though!

My partner and I stayed at this hotel from this 31st of October to the 8th of November. When we arrived we were greeted with open arms by the lovely receptionist, who ran us through the rules and gave us our keys.

The apartment was clean and tidy, along with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. The view on the private balcony was exceptional from sunrise to sunset, with ours overlooking the river and pool area.

The hotel is located in a perfect spot, less than a 10 minute to local attraction and shopping centres for necessities. Not to mention a 300m walk to a Glink tram stop which can take you from pacific fair shopping centre all the way to Helensvale.

The hotel offers beach towel hire, which was 5 dollars per towel for our entire stay. They also provided a room service halfway through our stay where they changed sheets, towels etc.

Overall an amazing stay, I would 100% recommend anyone who is looking to experience the Gold Coast to say here.

We stayed in the budget one bedroom apartment. The location was fantastic and it was a massive apartment! The kitchen was really nice. The bathroom was a bit outdated but functional. The facilities were fantastic. I really liked the pool/spa/sauna/outdoor area. There is even a small library in the games room. This place was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay again.

This place was a great experience! Location was perfect and apartment size was amazing. Also loved check in/check out, a breeze! I give 4.5 stars.

I would however have some recommendations:
1. Plead provide a tissue box/tissues, that's pretty standard inclusion.
2. It was very cold and they didn't provide a doona. I asked for another blanket (which they provided, but was still quite cold).
3. Apartment would be 100x better if there was double glazing windows as surfers gets very rowdy at night. Especially in the bedrooms.

Very good value for money and great location! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the apartment - we booked a 2 bedroom budget apartment - and it was spacious and welcoming. We brought our own amenities and made a great stay of it. The water pressure in the shower is really good - and they have lots of tourist information sheets in the lobby.

My partner and I stayed here late October. It is an amazing location, walking distance to everything. When you want to go to bed it’s on the quiet side of things and we slept very well. The apartments are very spacious and have everything that you need. Also, the people who work there are extremely helpful! We required directions to Movie World and received step by step instructions on how to get there. The hotel also stored our bags before check in and after we had checked out free of charge. I definitely recommend this hotel!

I have stayed here twice now, and cannot fault the accommodation or staff. They are super friendly and welcoming, more than happy to assist however they can. Fantastic views of the river and central location in surfers. The superior rooms are definitely worth the extra few dollars.

Its the best location for anyone to stay on a vacation. Actually would love to move to this area. So many resturants, cafes and pubs at walking distance. Coles supermarket right across the building. Beach is an easy 5 mins walking. Easy check-in even in non working hours. Everything from apartment size to cleanliness and the river view. All 5 star. Me and my family absolutely love it! Staying on the 9th fl. Apartment no 44. Big size living room and kitchen. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & 2 balconies. Couldn't have asked for more.

My wife and I recently visited the Gold Coast. The Moorings on Cavill turned out to be a fabulous choice! The apartment had a fantastic river view and exceeded all our expectations. The pool, spa, and sauna area was emaculately kept, as was the adjacent barbecue area. Management were super friendly and accommodating!!

Amazing experience! The facility and room was exceptionally good and for the price, it cannot be beaten. Location was good, but the heated pool and large beautifully furnished rooms are something else. Will definitely be heading here every time I have a holiday on the Gold Coast.

Loved the location, very central! Next to light rail for transport up and down the coast line. Great views from the 5th floor facing Nerang river...enjoyed by the whole family. Kids were in the pool everyday. Airconditioned rooms were very welcome and very spacious.
Only downside, for one night (out of 9) we had a noisy group of party goers upstairs making it hard for the kids to get to sleep and the reception is not manned after 5pm so just have to put up with it! I appreciate we can't pick our neighbours and everyone is allowed to have fun! Nevertheless, we would have no hesitation to stay there again.

From May 23 to June 2, 2022, my husband and I stayed at The Moorings.

If there is one, I will give Moorings seven stars. The location is fantastic. Woolworths and Coles are directly across the street, and some tourist attractions are just a short walk away.

We dealt with two wonderful receptionists who were incredibly friendly, professional, efficient, and helpful.

It was an unforgettable stay. When we return to the Gold Coast, we will undoubtedly stay at The Moorings.

Loved our stay at Moorings on Cavill. Apartment was presented nicely and had everything we needed. Amazing location. Looking forward to our next stay.

Would highly recommend Moorings to anyone looking for a competitively priced, centrally located accommodation in Surfers Paradise. We stayed for 14 nights and there was nothing to complain about, from when we got there early, they were ready for us, under cover car park included, clean, tidy room with all we needed.
Woolworths and Coles 3 minutes away, and right on Cavill Avenue(river end), so 3 minutes walk right to the centre of Surfers.
We have told all our friends and Family to check Moorings out if going to Surfers.

Everything is well, especially the woman in the reception is so so so so nice to take care of my friend and me！I will be back when it is summer！
