Bavarian Haus Restaurant

After we tried this restaurant we were back the next day.
The venue is clean and tidy with a great atmosphere. The staff are also incredibly professional and friendly, I would recommend this place just on the customer service alone but the food is equally amazing full of flavour and the portion sizes in true German style are quite large.
I would have loved to have come back for the pork knuckles but we only have so much time here.

I ordered the Pork knuckle with mash potato, sauerkraut & gravy. This was ordered from their weekly specials being the Sunday night pork knuckle for $25.
This was HUGE! I could not finish it. Was so crispy on the outside and so well done on the inside. Had a very nice ham taste to it rather than the super salty taste you would get from a pork belly. The mash was beautiful, the sauerkraut complimented the pork so well and the gravy was divine. All over, this is definitely a strong recommendation! Pair it with one of their cocktails and *chefs kiss* it’s a brilliant experience.
The restaurant itself is gorgeous and very German inspired, with big personalised beer mugs hanging from the roof, it feels as though you have taken a step into Germany itself. Brilliant staff, brilliant venue, and amazing food!

One of our favourite local restaurants! The pork knuckle is amazing and consistently perfect.
My advice is go early so you don’t miss out!

A little bit of Germany in Surfers Paradise. We ordered the pork knuckle and it delivered. Good food and better beer. Just ashamed that not more focus on Octoberfest given it is October.

Went for lunch on Friday- pretty quiet but that just meant super attentive and helpful service!
Had the trio of sausages and all I can say is that I'll be back using any excuse I can find.
Massive sausages and soooooo tasty!! Very filling but couldn't stop eating them.
Beer was excellent - not a huge selection of European beer but what they did have should cater for everyone. Massive glasses, almost like a bucket of beer!
So much fun, couldn't fault anything. Will be back soon.

Just beautiful. Delicious food, me and my partner ordered a platter, was really close to finishing it. Pig knuckle meat was on point with the sauces its served with. Black beer was also fantastic. Its my must go restaurant for gold coast

Always wanted to travel Germany and try Schweinhaxe with beer 😏 and now it's done! So satisfying experience. I bet this is no less than one in Germany. Just hope Covid ends soon so that we can compare all German food. Until then, this place it is!

Omg..... You have to have the pork knuckle, and nothing else!! It is soooooo filling and yum. Mash and Kraut delish as well ..

My partner and I decided to try this place and honestly it’s the best decision ever! The food is so affordable and worth it. It was large in portion and it was so delicious! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The whole place was so cosy and comfortable that after we left we can’t help but feel so satisfied. It was overall a 11/10!!

What can I say... this restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food was unreal, mouth watering! Sizing is so generous and the service was outstanding. The food and drinks were just as good as the service. The 2 male waiters interacted with our table of 9 like we were friends. It was very welcoming. A hidden gem! I was also impressed with the bottomless soft drink option. As someone who has 3 kids and doesn't drink alcohol, this can become costly with how expensive jugs of soft drink can become. $6 each in a huge glass. The beer glasses/jugs are kept cold so your drinks stay cold! The restaurant and amenities were very clean. Our experience will be one to remember and we will most definitely be back when holidaying next. Wish we knew about this place sooner. *found on opentable when trying to look for a place to dine.
