Sankalp Restaurant

This place has the best masala dosa in Sydney and I have tried plenty of places. I travel from CBD just to eat here. Love their chutneys, sambar, dosa and mini idlies.

My partner and I used to go to the Sankalp Restaurant in Ahmedabad very frequently. We both were longing for great South Indian food and found out that there is Sankalp in Sydney as well!! We found this out on our wedding anniversary :D and straight away planned to visit Sankalp.

We were a bit apprehensive whether the food and taste will be the same or not. We ordered our usuals and when the food came, our eyes lit up. The taste was exactly the same!! And the same cutleries as well :D. This has become our go to South-Indian restaurant now, of course, after my wife's South-Indian food. ~she made me write this~.

The staff is super wonderful and friendly. Loved everything about this place. The only thing missing was the instrumental music. But we only realized that after our stomachs were fully packed and we were just sitting there fully-satisfied!

I guess it has the best south Indian dishes in entire Sydney. I had heard about this restaurant but dunno why took time to go there.
They had given all chutneys, extra sambhar and everything was so fresh.
Service is amazing. Ambience is also very good.

Food was good. Although i felt as though the dosa batter yeaterday was a bit grainy and left those small grainy stuff sticking to your teeth. The restaurant wasnt all the busy and there was a lot of waitress standing and looking at customers, but not really topping up drinks or clearing empty plates for the diners. Service could be improved in this area. Otherwise, its still pretty good and we will still come back.
Oh! The lights that contantly changes color in the dining room is annoying… please change if you could thank you. 😊

My visit to Sankalp Restaurant was an absolute treat. The star of the show was their Dosa - each bite was a delightful mix of crispiness and rich flavors, truly capturing the essence of authentic South Indian cuisine. Not to be overlooked was the service, especially by Jaswinder, whose warm and efficient service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the meal perfectly, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Sankalp is definitely a top choice for anyone seeking delicious Dosas and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Though I didn't like the way the girls were serving us but I just loved the taste of your food. Being a south Indian food lover, I only prefer few South Indian restaurants and I will rate this as 10/10

The onion chilli garlic rava dosa is so good because it includes malaigi chutney and and Achari paneer included mint chuntney and 4 chuntneys are there garlic, malagi,coconut and coriander

Lovely, authentic Indian food. Delicious entrees, and I especially enjoyed trying their range of doshas. Professional service and spacious interior make visiting Sankalp a memorable experience.

Fantastic South Indian and North Indian food. Each dish is tasty and you will come back for more and more! The taste is always the same.

Visited this restaurant after lockdown was lifted in NSW. Food was delicious and yummy. The place was busy but staff was very friendly and quick. The ambiance is perfect for couple, Family or singles. We tried something from all the menu and loved every bit of our order. the food came reasonably quick and was perfect to order. The Kitchen staff perfectly cooked to the order and Paneer tawa masala was the best of all the dishes.

I Strongly recommend and will defiantly come back again and again.
