YAYOI Chatswood

Family ambience, plenty of kids. Went in with my girls and was not disappointed at all with the food! They were easy to order (digital), and we stayed till close too. Plenty of snacks and nibbles to order throughout or chitchat.

the food here is delicious! would highly recommend. love getting the wagyu sukiyaki each time. also had the chilled chawanmushi which was super refreshing for a hot day. It’s a nice environment and staff are lovely :)

This straight up took us back to Japan, the flavours, smells, staff and convenient ipad ordering. Place was affordable and great, by far best Japanese we have had in a while

For a great little meal on Chatswood you can't go past here, a great diverse range of Japanese food, reasonable pricing, cold beer. It's popular and you can't book,so sometimes there is a line up. Service is as fast as you can ordertheu the tablet, and the food just pops up. It's hard to fault, great to take the kids too.

Great place for drink and eat food, the service was convenient just tap on the tablet for ordering or other services such utensils or paying. It was a small place but the atmosphere so cozy to talk with your partners

Awesome amazing restaurant, food is fabulous however the cuts of meat may not be the best quality. Service was very good and helpful, especially for the price range. Would highly recommend it, definitely coming back again.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in the neighbourhood. Price may be on the slightly higher end but this is definitely worth it! I don’t think the other Japanese restaurants in the neighbourhood serve food which are as authentic as Yayoi!

I particularly like their Saba fish.

Would be great if they can introduce more veggie dishes (the current miso eggplant dish is too strong flavoured for our liking), and can introduce other dishes like oyakodon!

We don't often come here, but more often to the one in the city. Was satisfied with the food and service. The only thing I want to mention is that at Chatswood branch the tables are large enough to accommodate big groups, so that is a plus!

Great Japanese fast food restaurant. Really enjoyed the meal and the quality is very decent. Also the price is very reasonable for what you get. And the waiting period is good. Way better than some other Japanese restaurants I been eaten before.

Simple and homely is the best way to describe this global chain!! This Chatswood branch doesn't disappoint, good servings with filling dishes proving that you don't need to get complicated with cooking at all. Standouts were the namba chicken and sukiyaki beef. You order via touch screen at your table but staff are still more than happy to assist you. Its located in a tricky spot but parking is not far. Have been a few times and would still return.

The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The place was neat and tidy. Order submitted through a touch screen on each table.

My 9th experience with Yayoi and just like any of the Yayoi chains, this restaurant in Chatswood offers excellent food quality and service. The food is fresh with an extensive choice of authentic Japanese with my personal favorite being the Unagi Teishoku which really feels like a dining experience on its own.
Note that this restaurant can get quite busy and bookings for larger groups (even 4 people) are necessary

The Chatswood yayoi is very clean and there is a lot of space. I went to the galleries Victoria on Wednesday and ordered the exact same thing and the miso soup here is fresher, the chicken namban is more generous and there is more salad... That said both are still really good, and yayoi is always dependable.

Luxurious Japanese cuisine with fresh delicious and kindness service. Ordering through staff either tablet which is very impressive experience. Each meal is served on each tray as its clean and tidy. Rice and noodle texture is perfectly Japanese. Definitely recommended.

This is a real chain from Japan serving "teishoku" so you can find things on the menu that represent the kind of food Japanese will eat regularly (hint: that's not sushi)

Reliable and authentic Japanese food. Ingredients are fresh and cooked well.
