Friendly staff. Nice haircut. Didn't wait long and didn't take long

In September, I made an unexpected trip from Victoria to visit my daughter, who was unwell. While at Mt Pleasant and in a hurry, I spotted a hairdressers and asked for a cut. To my absolute surprise, Emily from TBL, next to Best and Less, listened intently, frequently asked for input and gave me the best haircut I've had in years. Following chemo, my hair is very strong-willed and tricky to cut. It's been easy to manage, looks a little funky, and I've had many compliments. So, today, after returning to my daughter's, I booked for a follow-up haircut with Emily. I'm thrilled. Not only is she highly capable and caring, but humble and delightful as well. I'm pleased to recommend the lovely Emily! :-)

Love going to TLB Hair Mnt Pleasant. The ladies are warm and engaging and to top it off i love what they do to my hair. Emily is my go-to hair hero, the color and cut is just right and she controls the frizz for me. Thanks again 🧚‍♀

If you want to be booked with staff members who have been over booked and rush your service this is the place to go. I worked so hard on making my hair healthy over the past few years only to be at square 1 again! I am heart broken. They did not allocate enough time for my service, rushed it and bleached my top. I paid over $300 to be left miserable, I do not have a lot of money so can not afford to get what has been done fixed.

The staff are lovely, it is clean and Ruby does really well with brow tint and waxing but I will not be going back for anything to do with my hair!

Really bad barber. They washed my hair good but the barber would not listen and cut it way too short. Save your money and don’t go there. Would rather have done it myself.

Im just disappointed with the finish of my hair and feel i was over charged. Got a color and hot tool finish, face ended up a mess even after i kindly specified to not have it happen, my hair was frizz crazy as i walked out and my straightening didn't last half the day?? I was charged $121 for short hair??? And it is horrible.
In saying that the 2 ladies that attended me were friendly and lovely so i thank you for that. But still not enough for me to want to recommend nor return to your business.

Will never ever come back here made my daughter cry said she had headlice embarrassed her she's only 8! Have gone through her hair all night and nothing was found! Disgusted! If you didn't want to do the hair why allow us to book and then treat her like that disgusted!

Unprofessional. I made an appointment with a specific hairdresser. I waited outside and the one who was supposed to cut my hair was very unfriendly when she pushed the trolley out. She was busy cutting hair and when that person left another person showed me to the seat. She came over pointed me to another seat and told me that someone else is cutting my hair. I was shocked since I phoned in advance. I stayed but was charged for a styling as well. Went home had to wash my hair and do it myself. I looked like something out a horror movie. Very disappointing. Will not return. One more thing. Clients don't need to know all about their hairdresser's lives. Don't think they deserve the one star.

Absolutely shocking had my daughters hair cut today and it was a mess long bits short bits will never go back not to mention $37 dollers for a cut and the tiniest trim for my son..
