We’ve only been here for breakfast but if you’re craving a traditional/down to earth chinese brekkie, this is the place to go!
Most impressive is the fried dough - super fluffy!
Chives and egg pancake is good too and tea eggs were flavourful.
Very afforable prices.

Hidden gem!

I used to go to the one in the city. Been many years but the pan fried dumplings are still one of the best I’ve ever had. Each was heaven in my mouth, delicately pan fried to perfection, juicy and tender.

The menu has changed somewhat and I couldn’t find the hand pull noodles which is also one of my favourites.

A Chinese restaurant serving various cuisines in Chatswood Lemon Grove shopping centre. Delicious food with generous portions and friendly staff. It also has internal restrooms.

Love this place. It's dingy and at the back of a run-down shopping center, but the food delivers every time. It's the kind of secret gem you find out about when a friend brings you for authentic, Chinese food.

The fried dumplings are a specialty, and there are loads of vegetarian options (including eggplant-filled, fried dumplings. Yum.)

Don't expect frills. Just really good food at a reasonable price.

Love this place. Shepherds purse is amazing along with salt and pepper squid. Serving sizes are great and everything is so tasty.

Fantastic takeaway dinner! Dishes from Sichuan, Xinjiang, Hunan provinces. Spicy 🌶 and non spicy, all cooked with real Chinese 🇨🇳 flavours! Pasta are home made. The place is super clean. “A bite of China”! Service was friendly as well with good recommendations! The place to go!

You need to try their breakfast- while its just some simple breakfast, the experience is amazing. Lovely congee, as well as the you tiao- you get a huge amount for just $3. Their small buns are good too, priced at $1 each. Shout out to the owners? who are always so sweet to you, you can easily tell she's so hardworking.

They serve the best stir fry noodles! Thick cut chewy noodles covered in a soy based sauce with meat & veggies. Dumplings are decent too! And I also highly recommend ordering scallion pancakes. Super crispy and fresh.

I struggle internally if I should post a review about this restaurant as I'm too selfish to let the world know about this place. If you are chinese and you dont know about this place, where have you been hiding all these years! Recommend to go at 8am for breakfast or else fried dough sticks will be sold out.

This place is so good! The food is remarkably tasty and good value. The staff are friendly and accomodating. Me and my family absolutely love eating here.

Tucked away in the corner of Lemon Gove. Not the most modern of venues but pretty clean.
Ordered steamed prawn dumplings and fried chicken dumplings, half duck and a plate of green beans. All of which was excellent and reasonably priced.
The staff were quiet friendly and were able to answer questions about the menu easily.
Our food arrived quickly.
We arrived about 6pm and it was 2/3 empty , by 630-7pm it was packed.
There were lots of families with kids and I would suggest booking a table if you’re more than 2 people.

The service here used to be slow, lazy, and chaotic. I would normally give this place a two star before. Until this Cantonese-speaking waitress came. She was quick and attentive. Will come back again if she stays.

Great hand made noodles and dumplings. Service was great last night (6/2/22) was looked after by a young fella. Good price for the portions. Only issue if I could mention one is the menus need re doing, look like they have been handled by thousands of ppl and are looking very worn.

Best dumplings in the area, tastes amazing and no heaviness after. A bit better and frequent service would have been a great addition, but overall I am happy with cost/quality of the food.

Fresh hand pulled noodles and mass machined noodles are so vastly different. I have been here a few times for a fuss-free lunch. Service is quick, plenty of space, food is delicious. My favourite is Lanzhou beef noodle soup, medium spice level.

You know the food is good when there are tissue boxes on the tables.

If you love dumpling you'll love this place! The soup filled steamed dumplings 🥟 are fantastic. I could eat them on their own for a entire meal. I haven't had a dish I haven't like there. Great value! I know it has changed hands but the menu has almost stayed identical. Fantastic place to get a feed before a movie 🎦

Weve been coming here everytime we are in Chatswood.
Our favourite place to come when we want traditional Northern Chinese cuisine.
It reminds me so much of our time in Shanghai, and flavours are traditional.
Food always tasty! No frills restaurant, but the best ones are!
