Snow Lodge

Everything our stay in this place was simply magic! Beautiful design, stunning views, impressively well equipped, nice and cozy! I had the best birthday of my life with my closest friends! I cannot recommend highly enough!

We stayed at Snow Fall Lodge (Crow Nest 1 for locals) at Falls Creek in September 2019 as a party of 11, with 6 young kids and 5 adults.

The facilities were absolutely amazing, and well beyond our expectations. We easily fit into the chalet with a few beds to spare, and we lost count of how many bathrooms and toilets were there (I think 7?). The kitchen and living room was excellent with the Dining Table easily able to fit the entire group around it.

The rooms were big enough with space to hang clothes and all had en suites. Everything had been cleaned thoroughly. Also worth noting there is a full BBQ set outside, which was more the capable of cooking a full meal even when it was -3deg and snowing.

The view over the town was quite spectacular, especially after the large snowfall we had.

Marie was a fantastic host and very responsive whilst we we staying there with a few questions we had.

The only thing to be aware of is that the location is up the end of parallel street. We had not been to Falls before and the kids had never seen snow let alone ski before, so the couldn't use the ski in/out option which is available at the end of the road (the track I would rate as intermediate), so we did have to spend a bit of time each day walking up and down the roads with our gear. The shuttle service is available but is adhoc and it was always quicker to walk.

Much thanks Marie for renting out the chalet. It is value for money in winter and extra-extra-extraordinarily good value over summer. We had a blast walking, exploring and fishing (the local trout are delicious and happily not to hard to catch!). The mountain biking options suited all ages and being there to usher in New Years 2021 from a unique vantage point - just WOW. Thank you!!

Awesome place. First time at Falls Creek and loved the location and the layout of the Chalet. Went with a group of 12 and were easily accommodated. Great to have two living areas some could chill with a book while others played board games. Def be back next season.

I had the pleasure of staying here in August 2018 as part of a rad ski trip. There is a heap of room in the house and plenty of room for activities. I could not recommend a stay for an extended group more highly!!! Unfortunately I didn’t experience the spa - my only regret of the trip!

Fantastic accommodation - practical, warm, amazing views and everything you could require to have a comfortable and relaxing time. Will be staying here again, thank you!!
