As a quick lunch option this shop is perfect. The menu offers a variety of dishes and free for your own combination. Price and size reasonable given the location of Canberra city.

Lively atmosphere, fast service even on a Sunday evening and most importantly the food tastes great.

Great meal and atmosphere. The gyoza are good, the waffle fries amazing and the cheesesteak spring rolls are to die for. And the sauces they go with are nom nom nom. Oh, and I'd never had lychee soft drink on tap until I went here.

A fantastic and simple diner for Japanese fusion food! The cold soba noodles were so tasty and refreshing on a hot summer day and the portion is commensurate to the prices of ~20 pp (order and pay through QR code). The waffle fries were also so good 👍 A definite recommend and a highlight of Canberra 😋

Visited this restaurant by random selection passing through ACT on the way to Phillip Island for a track day with my partner.

The customer service was good, staff were very friendly but the best part of the visit was the meal itself.

The portion sizes are decent, the flavor of the food is what you would originally come here for, the pricing is reasonable but the experience is premium. (average $25pp with main + entree and a drink)

The food served here caters to both Western and traditional Asian cuisine, i do not feel that anyone would leave disappointed or on an empty stomach.

Was genuinely surprised at my visit and i do recommend this if your looking for a good place to eat.

Had the tofu bao-ger and friend had the fried chicken bao-ger. Made really well, the baos themself were really fluffy and tasted nice, the tofu also made well. They were really big servings, worth the price. A lot of fried chicken and tofu for the price and other ingredients. They weren’t spicy at all. Tofu bao-ger was $22 similar price for the fried chicken.

The waffle fries on the side were amazing, good seasoning and well made.

Ordering was really easy as you can just find a table and order from the table. Wish they had more vegetarian options or variety in what the vegetarian options were, for some dishes the only vegetarian option was pumpkin.

Really a perfect lunch spot. Fast service, QR ordering if you want. Lychee soft drink on tap. Everything is delicious. Probably budget about $25-30 per person for lunch. The waffle fries are awesome.

Well, this restaurant was a nice surprise! Tasty Japanese food, fast service and they cater for vegans and vegetarians. Thank you! Some of the best edamame I've ever had 👌

Baby Su, located in the heart of the city, offers an appealing modern ambiance complemented by an exciting culinary experience. With clean lines and enough space to dine comfortably, the place resonates with a lively crowd, making it a popular choice for food enthusiasts.

Upon entering, you'll notice a well-organized space with somewhat narrow tables that still allow for cozy dining opposite a friend. The atmosphere feels fresh, reflecting the quality and creativity of the menu.

The food at Baby Su is a delightful fusion of flavors and generous portions. The wagyu cheeseburger spring roll is a must-try, generously filled with quality wagyu that melds beautifully with the crisp exterior. The teriyaki salmon rice bowl offers a well-balanced dish, a mix of tender salmon and refreshing salad. And if burgers are your thing, their fried chicken burger is a tasty option that won't disappoint.

Service at Baby Su is efficient, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that the food arrives quickly and meets expectations. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.

While my visit did not include beverages or desserts, the overall dining experience was satisfying, leaving little to be desired.

Baby Su is a place I would recommend to others, and I'm looking forward to returning. Whether you're in the mood for something traditional or wish to explore innovative culinary delights, Baby Su has something to offer.

Rating: 8.5/10 – For its unique offerings, excellent service, and modern ambiance, Baby Su stands out as a destination worth visiting for lunch or dinner.

Visited here for lunch on a work trip to Canberra. I ordered the vegan wonton ramen and passion fruit soda. Both were extremely tasty and satisfied my hungry tummy.

My partner and I had the beef rice bowl and salmon rice bowl tonight as takeaway. I can’t tell you how much I love the seasoning on the beef and its tender yet meaty texture. Even the side salad and rice were so tasty!! My partner also liked the sauce on his salmon.

On a separate but related note, the last time I had the waffle fries at Baby Su they were crispy and fresh. I reckon the pork katsu would be great too!

Great place to get your street fighting skills up when you’re taking a wee break from the fried chicken. Thanks for this lovely loo (and the yummy food).

This place was so good! I really enjoyed the salmon with rice however I have to say maybe the biggest highlight was the carbonated lychee drink! I’m not a fan of lychee however that drink really made me a fan. The fried chicken was also very crispy and tender - so so delish!

Mario Kart music and theme in the bathrooms. You shouldn't need to read any further.

The place is much more affordable and is better value for money than Braddon's Lazy Su, but does not compromise on quality. Don't be fooled by the 'fast food' vibe.

It has a funky interior that is also open air. The restaurant also sells Japanese snacks from a vending machine out front.

Service was quick and friendly.

I ordered a vegetarian soba noodles bowl with roasted pumpkin. Everything was perfect, the flavours, the presentation, portion size.
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere very lively. I plan to return to try other vegetarian options.
