North Ryde Golf Club

Fantastic experience at North Ryde Golf Club. Me and a few mates turned up on short notice as we were on holiday and Wayne sorted us right out. Helped us with club hire, balls and tees and was very very friendly. Couldn’t recommend Wayne and the club enough. Great course and great club house too.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing here. The fairways and greens are in excellent nick. Greens are fairly fast. I felt the course played fairly short, especially the par 3s. Club house is excellent.

Credit to the grounds staff here - the course is beautifully maintained and the greens are absolutely pure - so quick!! Such a great public course

A fantastic all around experience. The staff in the pro shop were very friendly and helped us get underway on an unfamiliar course without a hitch. It cost $30pp for 9 holes of social golf.

Course
The first nine of the course are mostly linear, with holes traversing a central low terrain point. Sparse water features present a challenge for new golfers but shouldn't be a huge issue for more experienced golfers. There are mostly par 4s and one par 5 on the front nine. The greens were okay, but sufficient. Some holes had slight inclines at the hole which presented an extra challenge on a few holes.

Food
The restaurant was closed when we went in (weekday) but the BBQ was still open. The gentleman served us a beer and burger/BLT each for approx $15pp. For club food, it was excellent and served promptly. Unfortunately the BBQ seating area is limited in view of the couse.

Friendly club with lovely outlook over the course. Pretty good food from the Dragon on the Green restaurant. The golf course is always a fair test...a few short holes and also a couple of long tough par 4s. Tight fairways and undulations with water coming into play for wayward shots. Fun!

What a beautiful course! Club house was also nice a quiet.... amazing views of the course from the Club House patio. Love this place!! =)

Way to busy for a midweek game but the course is fun and a little different.

Had a luncheon held here today for the PNGAA and it was a good experience.

Entree and a main and was cooked beatifully. My hisband says best lean steak he has had in a long time. Staff very pleasant and accomodating,
parking easy.

Played here twice and both times had a good experience. Nice course with a different blend of holes, some easy, some harder and all well presented. Guys are pleasant in the shop and course easy to get onto for a game. Definitely look forward to coming back 🙂

Played here yesterday with a group of eight. We had four carts and played four ball Ambrose. It was a special family event and all the staff made it fantastic. We were a little slow but all the other players were patient and friendly. Good value and a great time. The course is in top condition and enjoyable.
