Hanh and her team at Silver Pearl saved my wedding! I originally booked with another Asian catering team to do a Chinese banquet for my wedding, however I couldn't get a menu tasting with them until 1 month before my wedding date. We did the menu tasting with this other company and it went terribly.
That's when I called Hanh at 10pm to ask if there was any way she could cater for my very large wedding with very little notice.
Although Hanh's external catering teams were already booked, she called in favours and managed to find enough staff to make a new catering team to cater for my 270 guests.
She also managed to source very specific produce to satisfy the demands of my family who are also in the hospitality industry.
Silver Pearl honestly served great quality dishes. Everyone raved on about how good the food was, and how big the portions were. It was great to hear that our guests left with not only full stomachs, but leftovers to take home as well.
Hanh knew that I was under a lot of stressed from the whole ordeal with my venue and the catering. She went above and beyond to personally oversee everything went smoothly, even talking to me on the phone for hours, and offering pieces of advice that were extremely helpful. Hanh is such a honest and genuine person who loves weddings, I honestly can't thank her and her team enough for saving our wedding!

SilverPearl provided offsite catering for my wedding in December 2023. Hanh was so easy to work with and your communication was on top. She was always so supportive and helpful and met every request that we had and made sure leading up to the wedding that we were doing ok.

We got the best of the best from the food to the service. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the food and service and everything turned out perfectly.

Hanh and the team at Silver Pearl really do go above and beyond to meet all their clients need and making sure the process is as stress-free as possible whilst serving high quality seafood.

For the amount we spend feeding people at weddings, it’s hard to understand why function food is generally so bland and disappointing. Surely, in multicultural Sydney, we can do better than alternate plates of tepid chicken and beef? The re-imagined Silver Pearl in Cabramatta set a new wedding benchmark for me last week, when, along with four hundred guests including Fairfield City Council Mayor, Frank Carbone, I got treated to a peek at what this renovated function space can do.

With a daggy glass door entrance on Cabramatta’s main drag, Silver Pearl has been part of the local landscape for twenty-five years. The recent spruce-up makes for a wonderful reveal when, after climbing the stairs, you enter into an opulent crystal chandelier-heavy predominately white space, painted using lights with washes of colour. Styled by Anna Wang, the room gave us a taste of just what is possible for your special night!

Under autumnal trees adorned with fairy lights and candles, Creamed Cakery and Sweet Obsessions’ moist cupcakes and dessert canapes were expertly arranged by Juls & Co Events into a whimsical dessert bar, with trays of cupcakes dangling from the branches.

From the Silver Pearl kitchen that specialises in Asian seafood banquets, friendly floor staff with small squares of expertly-handled suckling pig. Tiny cups of fish maw and crab soup were a viscous, creamy delight after coming in from the cold, wintery night.

A raw seafood bar held trays of freshly shucked Pambula oysters alternately adorned with wasabi dressing, bright blue scampi caviar and juicy arms of beach bananas. My favourite spoonful took scorched green lip abalone and delicate coral trout sashimi and teamed it with a ginger and shallot relish, white soy and bursting pearls of salmon roe. I went back three times to check it really was my favourite canape, too.

Vegetarian guests were not forgotten with little bamboo boats of silken tofu adored with house-made vegetarian XO sauce, soy bean floss and crisp wonton skin. In between popping pliable Peking duck pancakes with pickled yuzu cucumber and crisp chicken skin into my mouth from clever cones (so they didn't drip) I kept returning to the raw seafood bar. Silver Pearl's local suppliers saw me enjoy kingfish and salmon sashimi with ponzu dressing, and even better briny spoonfuls of freshly shucked sea urchin roe.

In a hyper-modern, multicultural mash-up, the entertainment came courtesy of the Qing Fong Lion Dance Team, Cdarz Entertainment and the Dani B Band. Arabic drumming met with Chinese lion dancers on the glistening white dancefloor surrounded by a ring of smokeless fountains. Big smiles abounded on guests and performers alike. Once the dance floor cleared, the super-competent Vietnamese wedding band, the Dani B Band, even got a jaded crowd of suppliers and hospitality professionals dancing like they were at the best Chinese-Arabic-Viet wedding ever. A new wedding benchmark has definitely been set by Silver Pearl.

Honestly I have never eaten here in my life but I can tell it is a good establishment with good food because they stood up to those ugly mole influencers that only want attention for their social media's and 2 seconds of fame. Good on ya for sticking up against these bullies and good luck with dealing with these moronic entitled fake people.

We had our wedding here last month in October 2023 and I can only rave on about our experience. From my first enquiry with Hanh, I had a good feeling about her and I was right. She was so easy to communicate with throughout the process and very accomodating to what I needed. She definitely took a lot of the stress out of planning a wedding because she knew so much and was able to help us out a lot. On the night, the food was SO GOOD and it's often hard to please your uncles and aunties, but everyone raved on about how good the food was and how big the portions were. I highly recommend hosting your wedding here or even just going to dinner here!

Went here for Valentine’s Day, amazing food and service. Although today they were under staffed and the food came out slow. It was worth the wait.

On the day, the food was delicious and fresh. Hanh was also there throughout the night to make sure everything is running smoothly! She took alot of the stress out qHer team worked so well with the venue and the night went perfectly. Everyone complimented the food the whole night!

The seafood rolls here are amazing!

Hanh was an absolutely amazing throughout all our wedding enquiries. She went above and beyond to respond to us about anything and everything straight away. She went above and beyond to try her best to meet our expectations and her professionalism and experience in the wedding events industry is phenomenal and I would highly recommend her to anyone for any event. She is the most genuine event coordinator we have ever came across that genuinely cares about helping people have the perfect wedding!

Thanks to Hanh and the staff there for organising everything for our client. I came in to do the deco & balloons, and they had the backdrop ready to go. Helps the customers save money in the long run. Good food & service also of course!

Been coming here over the years for birthday celebrations and recently revisited. The banquet menu is your typical hard hitting dishes but they do it real fresh here. The atmosphere is super chill/casual. Great to relax, have some drinks with mates over some classic Chinese dishes.

The mix of Italian and Vietnamese background wedding, they chose the Silver Pearl for their reception best choice they may made.
With Hahn leading a wonderful team. She is an exceptional venue coordinator and fun host who ensured the night went smoothly and stress free.
I would recommend the Silver Pearl for any function. Compliments on the food and service which our guests also complimented on. Shout out to your exceptional team.

We had Silver Pearl cater for our wedding last weekend and could not have been happier. From the very first phone call with Hanh and everything leading up to the wedding, we knew we could trust Hanh and the team to deliver for us on the day. To have such a warm and personable person to liaise with was so refreshing and nothing was ever too difficult for her to do. She even bought last minute lunches for our bridal party from Cabra with very little notice on the day!!

Onto the food – we ended up having a blackout for the entirety of our outdoor reception but the team stepped up and were cooking with the flashlights on their phones and still managed to plate up every single course we ordered. Not only did they manage to serve everything up, we received sooo many compliments from the guests saying how amazing the food was and had guests saying it was the best wedding food they have had lol! Hanh and the team are amazing, super friendly and trustworthy. If you are thinking about using them for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

We chose Silver Pearl to cater our wedding externally at Eden Venues (Edensor Park) and it was the best choice we’ve made! Our 10 course seafood banquet was delicious and all of our guest immensely enjoyed the food. Hanh was our food coordinator and she is on the ball with everything and goes above and beyond for us. At any point something goes wrong (as they do in weddings) she’s always the first to offer an amazing solution. We are very happy with the food quality, taste and service Hanh and the team offered. Would recommend 100%!

Hanh and her team were an absolute pleasure to deal with every step of the way in catering for our wedding of 200 guests at an offsite venue, and delivered an incredible seafood banquet feast for us. They catered to all dietary requirements, printed out stylish menus for each guest and provided all tableware that our venue did not have. The food was so fresh and tasty. There is no substitute for Silver Pearl's quality of food and service!! Highly recommend. Hanh is a real gem to have in your corner.

We chose Silver Pearl for our baby shower and was the best decision we ever made venue wise. The staff was so friendly and they were able to cater to our guests dietary needs. We used Silver Pearl's catering services for our wedding this year - with the covid lockdowns and restrictions, this was two years in the making. We had approx 320-330 people that Silver Pearl needed to cater for.

We love eating at Silver Pearl so knew that we wanted their food at our wedding. Not only did they deliver on the night with their food and services, but we gained such an amazing friend out of Hanh, their events supervisor.

First - the food. Fresh, quick and in abundance. Their staff ensured that all our guests and their dietary requirements were met and ensure that the food came out on time and fed our hungry guests. They even made sure our families went home WITH food on the night!

Secondly - Hanh. Not only did she help us ensuring that her staff and food were AMAZING, she even assisted us with the wedding planning and with the last minute guests and changes, she was flexible, accomodating and made sure everything ran smoothly so we didn't have to think about it on the night.

The prices are fair and Hanh was honest about everything from the beginning. She really, really cares about her clients and honestly made us feel like we were her only clients because that's how attentive she is. We knew she was running around and super busy with all her clients but she always made us feel really special. Hanh always replied quickly and communication was perfect - even calling us to make sure we were ready and had everything planned overall. She always comes in with a smile, and her staff as well, and really assisted us with all the planning and nuances that happens with a big Asian wedding.
