Maroosh Restaurant

Nice ambience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food tastes almost like any other Lebanese restaurants except the rice. They serve 4 different types of rice which I guess is their specialty. Quantity is good, value for money. It is on the ground level of a residence building so might be difficult to locate when on main road.

We celebrated the Saudi founding day. The owner of the restaurant is a very kind and generous man. He made the children's meals free of charge from him. The chef, Lana, thank you very much. The food was very delicious, and the waiters were wonderful, cheerful and helpful, especially Aisha. she stay with us until late Also, a man was provided for us to help us install the decorations. It was a more than wonderful day, a delicious and honorable restaurant, and the hall is beautiful and spacious.

The owner is very nice and kind!!! The food is sooooo goooood its well cooked and the flavour is amazing!!!

Lovely hidden spot in Ascot Quay, with a beautiful riverside view, ample seating, great service and delicious food!
The menu has an excellent collection of Mediterranean dishes, and loads of vegetarian options to choose from, if you prefer vego!
We tried few entrees,
A spicy cauliflower entree- light spiced, very flavourful. Went well with the complementary fresh pita they serve at every table.
The stuffed vibe leaves- highly recommended.
Muhammara pastry- was more like a pizza with muhammara and ricotta, I'd give it a 2.5/5.
The portions for entrees are perfect for 2/3 to share!
We ended with dessert- the knafe. With was so fragrant from the dried rose petals- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The service was good, the owner was very kind.

Can't wait to visit again and try out the other dishes on the menu!

I celebrated my friend's birthday at Maroosh Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The owner was a wonderful host, warmly welcoming us with a touch of humor and genuine warmth. We savored the Mutabal, with delicious Tahini taste and hot pita bread. The Kibbeh Meshwi and Kibbeh Mekli were flavorful, but the real highlights were the Shish Taouk, Mix Shawarma, and Chicken Shawarma—bringing back memories of our time in Dubai. The food was amazing, and the hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

Went to a celebrity dinner with the family and friends We all really enjoyed the ambience and the service. Even though we were a big group of 12, the staff were professional and friendly. The food was also very tasty, and came in a timely manner.
Would definitely recommend Maroosh as a place to visit if you wanted to celebrate any milstones such as birthdays, Graduations and even weddings.

A truly different experience with wonderful Middle Eastern Cuisine I have never tried before. Service was great too. The owner was really personable and helped out with our dessert. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

It was my Son’s Birthday and he wished for Middle Eastern food. I searched for many Middle Eastern and Lebanese restaurants with more of the vegetarian 🌱 options and at last I found Maroosh with good options.
When we reached there It was beyond our expectations as the ambiance was decked up very beautifully with lovely Middle Eastern music the and had ample of sitting space. The view of the backside was beautiful river front.
Staff were warm and welcoming, and the owner Mr. Safwan was very accommodating and took care of all we requested. In fact, he also mentioned that he can customise the vegetarian menu for us. But by the time we were very full having all the cold and hot Mazze
We were 10 people and we ordered almost all of the Items from the Mazze ( appetisers) they were all vegetarian and tasted fresh and delicious. The portion size was generous enough.
We ordered Falafel, Hummus, Spicy Cauliflower, Spicy Potato, Cheese Samosa, Stuffed vine leaves, motabal, baba ghanaush we also ordered Vegetarian dish for our mains.
For desert we had Knafeh
Shredded kataifi (vermicelli) pastry filled with mozzarella cheese, topped with sugar syrup and pistachio nuts.
I would highly recommend this place for your any event or family dinner and for Vegetarians 🌱

Me and my colleagues came to have dinner tonight and it was my first time coming to Maroosh. It was beautiful since the time I stepped into the restaurant, the food was delicious (I ordered the Shish Touk). Then we had the Knafe as dessert and it was beautiful.

I booked a table at Maroosh Restaurant last week for my wife's birthday. As our booking was 5.30pm on a Friday night it was not yet busy. Young Mustafa greeted us and showed us to our table, he took the time to explain the dishes and was extremely helpful if we had any requests. The food was delicious, authentic tasty and perfect size servings and reasonably priced. I was a little surprised to read the comments in earlier reviews on the contrary.

I was impressed the owner Safwan took the time to stop by each diner's tables to welcome and chat, I love his sense of humour. My family not only enjoyed the cuisine but also the experience of dining there. We will definitely return shortly and may even try the weekend high tea sessions.

I love my Middle Eastern food and Maroosh is definitely worth a try and the quality of the food is up there with The Prophet.

Maroosh restaurant has delicious food, very kind and helpful staff set in a lovely restaurant.
We started with spicy cauliflower and potatoes which were seasoned with coriander, chilli, garlic, lemon juice and just enough chilli. The Shish Touk -chicken skewers and rice was amazing just like the Knafe was warm and delicious. Overall it was a tantalising experience. Well done Safwan and staff.

Amazing hospitality and the staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. We went on a quiet weekday night and much to our surprise were catered with equal enthusiasm as on a busy night. I really appreciate them considering our visit close to their closing time. The ambience is nice for formal as well as meal catch ups with family and friends. Thank you Maroosh!

Now this was quite an experience! The food was divine, the atmosphere with life Lebanese music excellent. The owner cares about his guests, staff are immaculate.
No idea why people would not genuinely enjoy this place.

Was recommended to come here, and wasn’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and fantastic. We really enjoyed the night and the music was a plus.

I had my 18th birthday with my friends here last night. The owner was very helpful and treats his customers like family, as he beautifully decorated my table and helped with preparation of the food. him and his relatives who work in the restaurant approach and engage with all customers and make them feel so welcomed. The staff were all helpful and very friendly, all had a smile on their face no matter how busy the restaurant was. My friends and myself enjoyed the amazing food along with the music being played on the Saturday night. It is such an amazing environment to be in I will always be coming back. Definitely come here if you want to try middle eastern food !
