Country Pleasures Bed & Breakfast

Vicki ensured our stay was a beautiful and memorable experience. She provided us with excellent breakfast provisions, little sweets all over the house (homemade and delicious) and a complimentary bottle of wine. The cottage was beautiful and cosy and we were welcomed with lovely music playing upon entry. We really loved the personal touches along with the wood fire place which kept us nice and toasty. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We thought this would be a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. We were wrong. It was an absolutely delightful place to stay. The complimentary wine, nibbles and breakfast goods were a great touch. It is a very nice cozy and quiet place to stay. Please go out the back when it's dark and clear. You can easily see the milky way and so many stars. I miss that living in the city. All in all it was a very great place to stay and we are so sorry it was only a few nights. We will be back!

Perfect location, comfortable, fire and candles ready to light . Presentation amazing! (better than the photos online). Country Pleasures is an outstanding place of rest. It's old world charm combined with comfort, spaciousness and many treats provided by the hosts. Other places need to take note and follow their lead. Well done. We'll be back.

We stay in a lot of B&B cottages thanks to my performances and this is one of the few which made us say, "Wow!" the minute we walked in the door. Aircon was on, soft music playing, fresh fruit on the table, chocolates discreetly placed around, fresh bread & a lovely cheese box, eggs, strawberries, yogurts, juices & milk in the refrigerator awaiting our attention. Oh, did I mention the lovely fresh aroma that also greeted us. Wife's ecstatic. Thus happy wife happy life!

This is our second time here and it definitely won’t be our last! You cannot fault the Country Pleasures cottages; they are perfect in every way. The cottages are impeccably furnished, decorated and presented. Thoughtful touches are everywhere; from the comfortable bed, to the luxurious spa and cosy log fire, perfection abounds. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

This was a truly beautiful place. Rose Cottage was perfect. From the chocolate favours placed everywhere to the fragrant rose bath oil, it was heavenly. The kitchen amply supplied with fresh bread, juices and eggs. Wine on hand.

The spa was lovely. We always choose properties with one to bathe and succumb to its wonderous pleasures. Sitting on the verandah, glass in hand, and watching the sunset was magical.

This has been one of few places to truly make us feel comfortable and spoilt. Everything has been provided and thought of.

We would have preferred a TV in the bedroom so we could cuddle and sip a port but a minor point.

Suitably close to wineries, restaurants and hotels and local business but still with a bush backyard. Loved it.

This place is perfect, with hosts Vicki and Peter going above and beyond in everything. Lovely homely cottage with so many extra comforts, from a spa bath with a picture window to beautiful bath sheets, excellent local produce for breakfast provisions, including eggs from the resident chooks. Gardens are an English garden delight. Kitchen well-equpped, robes in the bedroom cupboard. Angaston is a lovely little town and is a good base for all your Barossa touring. Highly recommend Country Pleasures B&B!!!

The privacy and serenity away from the town was wonderful. Also, the over and above provisions of food, drinks and additional touches made our stay really special. Peter and Vicki are really helpful.

The provisions are second to none are go far beyond just breakfast, the wine was brilliant and the little extras make you feel welcome. The cottage has everything you need and is within a comfortable walk to Angaston.

Spent 3 nights in Sage Cottage. It was fantastic! Great space, well furnished and equipped, spotlessly clean, lots of food provided, friendly, helpful, but very non-intrusive hosts.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and everything was perfect. The breakfast provisions were extremely generous. The locally sourced bacon and homemade bread were delicious. Located on quite street with everything an easy drive away. Definitely recommended.
