The Louise

Wow, still reeling from this experience. I don’t think it’s possible to put into words how wonderful a stay at The Louise is. Every single detail is perfection. Sonia, the manager was so warm and friendly, made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful and everything in it was quality; the coffee pods, the shampoo/conditioner, the snacks - all top of the range. The degustation dinner and wine pairing was absolutely on point. The pool and sauna is beautiful. I genuinely cannot fault a single thing here, I just wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend.

I cannot fault this place one bit. From the minute we arrived we felt like we were in another world. The attention to detail by Sonia, graham and the team is second to none. The rooms are exceptionally equipped with a great mini bar and snacks. The meal in appellation was magnificent. The wine parings matched perfectly. And if that wasn’t enough, the beautiful speakeasy lounge to finish the night with a tawny port. We made our way back to the room to find the fire lit, Essential oils burning, the kettle boiled and a lovely night time tea ready for consumption. I only wish we had longer. Absolute luxury. Thank you for looking after us so well

A special experience in a nurturing and welcoming environment, so many thoughtful touches which makes you feel immediately at home. Suites are incredibly cosy, private with every comfort , there is nothing lacking. We look forward to another visit, especially in Autumn, which is a wonderful time to visit the Barossa Valley.

Special birthday dinner.....each course was well thought of and the attention to detail with each course made the experience even more amazing and delicious....my favourites
.. the duck, so delicious! The scallops a taste sensation and the rhubarb quince d'affinois ...savoury and made me want more!!! The wine pairing made everything taste even better. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I celebrated a special anniversary at The Louise. A wonderful experience hosted by beautiful people who strive to make your visit very special. They succeeded. Room comfort, food, wines, tourist information provided to perfection. Ask about wine tours exclusive to those who stay at The Louise, very informative.

Shear luxury. Wish we had stayed longer than the 2 nights to fully enjoy the place. Quiet secluded rooms. Lovely views over vineyards. Well stocked fridge. Excellent meals with matched wines. Great to enjoy pre-dinner drinks outside as the sun sets.

Absolutely fantastic in all aspects. The rooms and facilities are superb, and the location is fantastic, nestled amongst a vineyard in a great spot in the Barossa. The food at Appellation is first class. But what sets it apart is the team, who ensure that your stay is special, and that nothing is too much trouble. Nathan, Mandy, Joel the chef and all the team provide a first class experience, one you won't forget. I cannot recommend it enough, and look forward to returning there sooner rather than later.

Absolutely 5 stars on all fronts. The staff were exceptional. Special mention to Sonya, Graham and Nathan. So attentive and knowledgeable. It was relaxed, indulgent and the whole experience created memories that will last a life time.
The suites were a highlight. Private, luxurious and well stocked. Every detail had been considered. The surrounds, the dining, the staff. I couldn't fault any of it. Thank you so much to all the staff. Hope to visit The Louise again soon.

What a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we arrived to the time we left it was amazing. The room was great, the fire was nice and cosy.
All the staff were very attentive and all of there recommendations were 10/10. The food and service in the restaurants were world class we loved our dining experience.
Special mention to Nathan and Graham on the desk who couldn't help us any more. And Aidan, Connie and the girls on breakfast.

A great stay at The Louise. Rooms were very comfy, once mastering the fireplace. The food was outstanding and very filling. Point to note you can eat in both restaurants, and don't have to just have the 5 courses every night. Wish we knew as the other menu looks just as fantastic... the staff were extremely patient and caring.

Just loved this place! Gorgeous rooms and very attentive staff. The food was sensational and breakfast and dinner were included. You have a choice of 2 dining options. My husband and I had slow cooked lamb the first night. It was absolutely divine. The 2nd night we had the 5 course degustation with matching wines… also amazing! We stayed 2 nights and by day visited A few wineries for wine tastings and other foody places. Loved every minute! Highly recommend.

Last minute stopover at The Louise joined by dinner in Appellation was so memorable and completely devine. Picture perfect. I could live forever in the those villas. Sky, Connie & Nathan were very warm hosts. Can’t wait to return!

What an outstanding resort. It was a dream to finally enjoy a weekend at The Louise. It exceeded my expectations on so many levels. The Yalumba experience for the launch of The Caley was exceptional. With Chef Mark Godbeer cooking up a storm to match each wine and each wine matching each meal. What a treat.

We spent 2 nights at The Louise for our 20 year wedding anniversary. The suite, the meals, the pool, the staff indeed everything was magnificent and was a fitting celebration for us. Thank you.

Everything from start finish is fabulous and welcoming. The staff, especially Simone was so lovely and knowledgeable all of her recommendations were spot on. The suite was lovely and super comfortable. They. catered to my dietary (coeliac and nut free) without an issue or limiting me to anything. I can hardly wait to come back.
