Great spot to relax.
Heaps of different types of chocolate all made here.
We purchased a bog of mixed mini chocolate frogs.
We took out dog which was welcome outside- you can walk around the lake and onto the deck with your pooch to have lunch from the restaurant or cafe.
Cafe has normal coffee and cake options, while the restaurant has meals such as pizzas.
At the front area they have ice cream which you can eat outside with your dog (or inside without).
This is a great non wine option for the Barossa and definitely worth a visit.
Parking is easy and it is not far from either Nuriootpa or Tanunda.

Went there during the wine tasting tour. I didn’t have but ice ream, coffee and lots of chocolates there and looks so yum. There’s outside seating too. You can see how they make chocolate from the window.

Nice setup with restaurant inside the chocolate place. Very spacious and clean. Overlooking a small pond and vineyard for you to enjoy the view while having your brunch or sipping your coffee or hot chocolate. Plenty of seats indoor as well as outdoor. There's ice-cream parlour too at the entrance. Very big parking area.

Lovely experience taking my Mum & friend from NZ. Welcoming staff(lady with bright pink hair) got our attention straight away walking in with a bubbly welcome and smile and full of information. The rest of staff behind the counter were lovely too. Loved seeing the chocolate being made through the glass into what you sell. Presentation of the shop was very colourful and clean and easy to get around not missing anything.
We wondered over for a coffee (6 staff very frazzled trying to make coffees and other things, just didn’t look good) BUT coffee tasted great and my Mum grabbed an ice-cream which she loved. Scenery was beautiful. We watched & listened to a young girl explaining the $12 experience to a family, she was that good with the children with smiles and laughter, I will be bringing my Grandchildren up to visit in the school holidays.
A beautiful place to visit. Thank you, I would give more stars if I could.

What a beautiful place. We did wine tasting. Had Asian chicken salad. Brought chocolates and finished the day off with ice cream. Congratulations to all who work there. All the best to your pinky charity campaign.

Fabulous place for chocolate lovers. Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley surrounded by beautiful vinyard. It is a chocolate factory & shop along with ice cream shop, cafe and wine tasting bar. Open factory shows you how they make their chocolate products. Barossa Chocolate Company not just offers chocolate, but also combinations of chocolate & coffee, chocolate & ice cream and even chocolate & wine! Wine tasting coupled with chocolate was an interesting experience. I like the little reservoir next to the shop and the outdoor setting. Great place to spend half a day. Although the chocolate was delicious and some unique chocolate was available, it was a bit pricey, and I didn't try the food from the Benni's cafe which quite a few people complained about on their review. However, I strongly recommend having wine & chocolate tasting from the wine bar. It is worth the money you pay.

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company. - we love this place. We often take clients for one of the many experiences. This week, we took our own kids there for a special birthday party. The whole team made us feel very welcome. The food was great and as always the team looked over the helicopter to be safe when we departed. :) Thanks again guys!

We had a BBQ pizza and some rocky road ice cream. The sweet potato chippies are a must. They were delicious. Our group bought a lot of the dark chocolate variety. The staff were courteous and very helpful. They were able to accommodate 17 of us during the Christmas holidays.

We took our grandchildren to this gem in the heart of the Barossa. It was a wonderful setting and the dining facilities were great. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake was delightful on a warm day. The range of chocolates and ice-creams was terrific. Watching the chocolates being made was a feature. Staff were friendly and only too happy to please.

We went to have a chocolate and wine pairing. They were flat out busy and waited 30 mins. The experience was made great and a highlight of our day by Angela our server. She remained calm although under the pump, and because of you we had an amazing experience. Hope you enjoyed the Riesling 😉

Chocolate & wine it doesn’t get any better! We stopped in for chocolate and came home with wine and chocolate. We particularly loved our wine tasting experience with Julie & David from Vineyard Road wines, it was an unexpected and a definite highlight of our day. The selection of whites have been the hands winner for us during our stay in the Barossa. David was phenomenal in explaining the wines, how they are produced and tips on other experiences we should explore in the Barossa. Julie pared our wines with chocolate very generous beautiful people great service …. Such a great experience add it to your list!

We visited barossa valley chocolate company during easter long weekend.
It was a such a great experience for children, they enjoyed seeing how the chocolate is made into different shapes.
As it was easter, they had so many options to choose from cute easter eggs to bunnies in different shapes. They even had a easter code cracker activity for children and had to find clues around the lake.
Children were busy doing drawing whilst we waited for our food and coffee.
I highly recommend to visit chocolate company while you are in barossa valley.

We visited the chocolate factory for lunch yesterday and it was amazing. The ambiance and customer service provided by Rachael, Joanne and the waitress were top class, and they even brought out treats for our dog.Would definitely recommend!

It was definitely worth the drive from Melbourne.
