Have brought my dog to Rainbow Farm and he absolutely loved it. Interesting watching him stare at the Alpaca and goats wondering what kind of dogs they were. So restful being away for the rat race.

Rainbow Farm has been sold and is therefore no longer available to Holiday with your pets. Thank you to all of our previous guests .

We had a booking for the long weekend; booked over the phone as that was the option presented.

Lorainne provided her bank account details and said she would email the information.

Two weeks prior (5 days ago) she sent me a text message asking if I still wanted the booking as I had forgotten to do the deposit: I confirmed I did and said I would transfer the money ‘now.’ Lorraine text me her bank account details - as the first time they had been given over the phone.

I paid the money.

I did not hear back from Lorraine and so one week out I messaged her. To be told she had booked other people in and this was my fault for not paying.

Through a series of what can only be described as abrupt text messages it became apparent Lorraine had provided me with the wrong bank account details. When this became evident she then stated this was my fault as she gave them correctly the first time - a fact that would never be known because it was done verbally over the phone.

When this came to light Lorraine did not apologise; she attacked me stating this was my fault for not initially paying a deposit - a statement which would have been correct if she had not indeed offered the opportunity at the second contact and gave the bank details again - thereby entering another agreement.

I had to point out at one stage she hadn’t even had he courtesy to apologise for providing he wrong details before she sent a short abrupt message apologising

I advised Lorraine I was not wearing this issue as this came down to her business practices, and she would need to advise the second booking she had taken for the March Long Weekend 2018 of her error and make alternative arrangements with them. At this point she offered me 50% of another three night stay, but ignored the fact my husband doesn’t have leave for this.

It is my suspicion she knew this situation was not going to be positively resolved without honouring my PAID booking, and so instead of two customers with poor experiences - she contained it to me.

Lorraine then ceased contacting - despite being told that her error not only cost us our long weekend away, but I would have to PAY the bank to do a retrieve and recover of my money. And I would be out of pocket up to a week until they were returned to my account.

Leaving no discretionary funds to book alternative accommodation even if we could find something this short notice before a long weekend.

She claims she doesn’t email the address because she doesn’t want guests being disturbed; despite the first google search giving the address at 25 Coomooloo Road, Balds Hill and even having google satellite images of the property.

The poor business practices (she couldn’t even acknowledge a simple
follow up text of ‘as no money has been received your booking as been cancelled’ would have alleviated everything because at that point I could have said ‘yes it’s been paid’) not providing information in writing and then refusing calls, reply text messages or Facebook messenger responses after learning I would have to pay to recover my money FROM
HER ERROR is disgraceful shoddy business behaviour.

**Edited: the review below by ‘Only If it’s good’ is spam and a friend of the owner. The same person who bullied and harassed online on their business Facebook page passively threatening legal action because of our one star review. **

My wife made a booking with this company. She has reviewed them below. She also left a review on their facebook page. Several hours later one of the companies friends attached a comment to the facebook review threatening potential lawyer involvement and multi thousand dollar lawyer bills.

My wife pointed out she had everything in writing and immediately contacted the company (not content they had ruined our long weekend). The comments were removed. Later that evening the page deleted my wife's one star review. Very poor form.

Take the feedback, learn from it. Grow. Perhaps if the honest feedback was left we would never had booked and had cause to have leave 1 star feedback.

This place needs a really good clean-up and maintenance - we were without hot water for three days because of a dodgy old hot water system that should have been replaced years ago - there's better accommodation in the area that is dog friendly for the same cost
