Best Chinese Ever!!!!!!!! Yum.

The duck with plum sauce with a very thin layer of crisp was delicious. The meat in the satay combination was so soft and tender.

Service from all 3 of the girls was so friendly even when they were clearly very busy. It looked like they were training a girl and both staff members were so patient and kind to her when it was very busy. Very nice to see.

Had a small issue with one of our dishes which was resolved in such a friendly and professional manner straight away.

It's too hard to pick a favourite dish, they're all wonderful, but the crispy squid is AMAZING. The staff are so lovely and looked after us like VIPs

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CHINESE. I stayed one night in the area (from suburban Melbourne) and we don't have any good Chinese around here, this was the best I've had in years!! The dim sims didn't look like much but they tasted amazing! Both steamed and fried. I had satay lamb/pork both meats were equally delicious and both tender, and I had sweet and sour pork, also beautiful ❤ im craving the dim sims bad.. oh and the fried rice was nice, it tasted better when I tipped the remaining plum sauce on it. so glad I chose this restaurant, I wish it was closer.

The food is always fresh and unequivocally the best Chinese I have eaten across Queensland, NSW and ACT. We gladly drive an extended distance (due to moving out of the suburb), just to order and collect this amazing food for dinner.
Make sure to call in advance on Friday and Saturday evening, as there’s a bit of a wait for takeaway, but it’s only because it’s totally worth the wait and a super popular restaurant!
The staff are really lovely and very much family orientated which makes the environment even better.

New Cathay Chinese Restaurant and the service have been absolutely amazing. It was my husband’s 75th birthday so we placed a take away order for 20 + family at our home. When it was picked up, the food was ready & packed in 8 new insulated bags. The beautiful owner also included a gift of a huge box of chocolates, bottles of wine for the adults & numerous bottles of soft drink for the children. Not only were we blessed with all this, but the food was the best we’ve ever had. What an amazing experience with the most generous & caring Owner & her team, who made the special birthday EXTRA SPECIAL. From all our family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤ ♥

Great tasty food at affordable prices. Party of four adults for dinner. Ordered satay prawns, deep-fried chilli beef, Szchezuan beef, sweet sour pork and Mongolian bbq pork, plus large boiled rice and large fried rice. chilli oil. All very delicious. Generous portions. Service friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Will be returning soon.

They forgot about us. We sat there watching others (who ordered after us) getting thier mains while we still hadn't got our entrees. Half an hour wait on our entrees while others waited fifteen minutes for their mains.

We had a very nice and long dinner in this Chinese restaurant which we can highly recommend to everyone who enjoys to have a large selection of different chinese and asian dishes with great taste.

The entry of a hot sauce was spicy but in a good way with lots of vegetables and other ingredients.

Satay chicken was very nicely mild yet tasty as well as deep fried duck in lemon sauce which is great for everyone enjoying that deeply sweet taste and sweet and sour pork was very nicely done aswell - the Szechuan dish was nice aswell - all dishes were very fresh.

The customer service was very good - They where friendly and happy to help with any problem.

This restaurant deserves its good reviews very well and seems to be known in this area for its nice dishes by locals.

Best Chinese in town and has been for the past 15-20 years. Only place I get takeaway from. My family have been coming here since I was a baby (I’m now 22) and a lot of the staff have remained the same for a long time (Jan, Natasha). Always service with a smile, always great food. Only thing is if you want takeaway on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night make sure you call ahead as they get very busy!!

Ordered takeaway from here for the first time. Will be ordering from here again. Good meal, Good value and they even added a few prawn chips. Nice touch 👍
