Melita Coffee Lounge

Came here with my wife for lunch and, while I'd like to see more on their menu, I couldn't fault this place. In a nice, cozy cafe with a homely feel, the food was delicious. From the freshness of the ingredients to the well balanced portions, it made for an outstanding lunch at a good price. Even though we arrived close to closing time after the lunch period, the staff were great and never made us feel rushed. If I could give a higher rating, this place definitely deserves it.
If you're local or come through the area, make this place a priority to try and you won't regret it.

Very reasonable price and food was actually amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection. To be honest I think the store decoration was downselling the place, was not expecting much until I tried the food. Store could use a bit more light but the restaurant vibe was very warm and feels like home.

I've never walked out disappointed. From the great taste in background music, too the coffee made with love by Denis, too Eleni's warm smile every time she glides out of the kitchen...if driving through Queabeyan on a road trip or if you just want a change from your local cafe, then Melita Coffee Lounge is your next excuse for a good time out.

Coming from Sydney for the medieval fair we stopped in for breakfast. Appreciated the homely, old-fashioned good service and accommodations made for this fussy eater. Food was excellent and cost reasonable.

Returning to the area after 2 years away, Dennis is still making excellent coffee and has made a number of great updates to his Cafe. I absolutely recommend the food and coffee, dine in or takeaway you won't be disappointed.

Awesome little Cafe. I go every morning and get a bacon and egg roll and caramel latté. The gentlemen looks after me so well, and the food is unbelievable. Highly recommended 👌 get a feed

Honestly, didn’t expect it, but 10/10 for this dark horse! The decor is greasy spoon, service is relaxed- but holy cow you need to eat here! Drove up from Melbourne for the weekend and had the best breakfast I’ve had in… years. Coffee is perfect!

We judge a cafe by their coffee and raisin toast. This is the only place in Queanbeyan that serves hot toasted buttered raisin toast. And delicious coffee!

Dennis is a great bloke so easy going,he makes awesome coffee! wagonga brand a Ethiopian blend and I had a bacon and egg roll which was too die for!

Has been the best coffee in Queanbeyan for years. Dennis the man! No pretentiousness that comes with some coffee shops and the grub is pretty good, too. Years ago, they made pizzas late night on a Wednesday - hands down the best pizza I've ever had, so please bring them back! I love this place; don't ever change :)

Amazing coffee and the owners are just wonderful. Good prices, cute atmosphere. The vanilla latte will never disappoint.

Picked up some Ruebens, a Cubano and an Okonomiyaki to go - all were absolutely top notch. Just delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the place has a relaxed feel. Will definitely be returning.

My friends and I regulary do lunch here after a morning swim. We get excellent coffee, great service and yummy food. They do the best carrot, potatoe and cashew soup. And if you are budget conscious, you can do food and coffee for less than $20.00. Highly recommended.

This place is sensational! I've mostly ordered coffee as I pass by, but most recently I dined in again and the food was brilliant. They cater for the gluten free crowd well, as the owner has a family member with gluten intolerance, so he gets it.
