We had the pleasure of dining at KOMEYUI with the omakase set. The quality of ingredients and taste was exceptional and the service was impeccable. We had Chef Max look after us and his skill set and customer service made our anniversary one to remember. The entire staff were very attentive and went the extra mile. We will definitely be returning!

We treated my mom to a Mother's Day celebration there. She received special treatment with a complimentary cocktail. The service was exceptional, with the staff addressing our inquiries thoroughly and offering great suggestions for our lunch selections.

We opted for a beautifully presented two-tiered bento box, which not only looked exquisite but also tasted delicious. Additionally, we indulged in other dishes like the soft shell crab sushi roll, which was outstanding. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, and the sashimi was incredibly fresh, prepared right in front of us by the chef.

The ambiance of the place resembles a Japanese setting, adding to the experience. I highly recommend it for enthusiasts of Japanese cuisine. It's also an ideal spot for family gatherings, celebrations, and catching up with friends.

Tried their lunch omakase with a couple of friends and we all loved it!! Service was excellent, and the restaurant was modern and nice. Each plate was prepared with lots of care in front of us, and every mouthful was a delight. Didn’t think much of the vegemite caramel sauce on the dessert.. parking is a little challenging but is all worth it for the food :D

Had a night out at Komeyui for a birthday dinner and left feeling extremely satisfied and content. First of all, the service here was amazing and made us feel very welcomed and invited. We got the seasonal omakase and the flavours were heavenly and simply melted on the tongue. The chef was also very friendly and happy to engage with us throughout the course of the night. The atmosphere was also great, very warm and elegant.

Exceptional Japanese food! We had the omakase classic and enjoyed every single bit of it. Food quality very comparable to what I have had in Japan. Even dessert was just as amazing!
The service was excellent from the start to the end. All the staff including our chef were very knowledgeable. Definitely a 10/10 experience. Will 100% be back and would highly recommend!

One of the best Japanese meals we have ever had . Up there with Nobu. Great attentive customer service and creative cocktails. A special occasion spot as its on the expensive side . We went there for our anneversary and my wife loved it .

Can’t put into words how amazing this place is, hands down the best Japanese in Brisbane! The spring omakase was the best dining experience I’ve ever had and a great way to try many new dishes and flavours. All staff were very attentive and friendly, 5 star treatment!

Komeyui Brisbane offers an exceptional dining experience with their delightful omakase menu as well as à la carte menu. The dishes were truly delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs, special shout out to Chef Max and Chef Kuma.

The restaurant's fitout is impressive, with a spacious and minimalist design that sets a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. The attention to detail in both the food and the ambiance is commendable.

The service provided by the staff is spot on, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. However, one area for improvement would be the attentiveness to water top-ups, as this could enhance the overall service experience.

While some might appreciate the inclusion of blue cheese, caviar and pâté, it's important to note that personal preferences vary. Offering a diverse range of options to cater to different tastes would be a welcome addition to the menu.

Had the autumn omakase recently for a friends birthday. The food was fresh and delicious. Nothing to fault there. The Chef was friendly, easy to chat to and told us all about the food. They were also really accommodating with dietary restrictions. They made my friend's birthday really special by giving her additional sushi + little birthday desert. They also let us have a taste of the drinks before we ordered. 4 stars for the service because the waitress was really reluctant bringing out fresh plates for the birthday cake, and gave us a really tiny knife to cut a largish cake. We ended up using the sides plates that were on the table for the meal. The chef was really lovely and cut the cake for us. We had such a great experience and look forward to going back for their winter omakase.

Celebrated my Birthday at Komeyui with a Omakase lunch setting. I must say the whole experience was top notch. 5🌟 all around!

All the staff were very friendly, smiles all round and services was impeccable!

Chef Colin looked after us during the meal and did an excellent job. Every dish was absolutely delicious! Highlight was definitely the Hokkaido scallop and foie gras roll! It was sooo good we got seconds!

I was so thrilled when I realised Komeyui was going to be coming to Brisbane, as I've tried it in Melbourne and absolutely loved it. The winter Omakase (dinner) was amazing!! The presentation and quality of food really blew me away, and I'm so grateful that I can enjoy such a delicious meal. I cannot believe that there are not more people flocking to Komeyui. Highly highly recommend for those who appreciate sashimi and a special dining experience. Thank you Taka-san and team, I'll most definitely be back more often for the ala carte options.

Max was so skilled and attentive while serving us the omakase at the counter.

Many of the items were the freshest and most delicious I'd ever tried such as the sea urchin (uni) and the eel (anago).

Can't wait to go again when the menu changes for the new season!

My husband and I had a delightful lunch experience at Komeyui today. The food was exceptionally well-prepared, and the attentive staff made us feel truly welcome. From explaining the menu to serving our dishes, the waitresses were courteous and knowledgeable. The ambiance perfectly complemented the high-quality Japanese cuisine. What truly stood out was the personal touch of the director/head chef, who took the time to greet us, shake our hands, and express gratitude upon our departure. Having visited numerous high-end restaurants in Brisbane, Komeyui unquestionably stands out as a gem deserving of its reputation. We're already planning our return with family and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

I’ve a good experience in here that everything so amazing. The cuisine is really wonderful and all of staff are excellent in service. I really recommended everybody who has a plan for special meals. Don’t miss a chance to be here.

Opportunistic free afternoon kids free! Had lunch at Komeyui and tried the full Bento Box. A great service, high standard of food and just a great space by the sashimi counter. Service was attentive, and had a good chat with Chef Sho. Will be back to try the Omakase at some stage👍
