The Cambus Wallace is my favourite bar - period. Try the fresh apple juice with fireball for a liquid apple pie experience. It has changed my life. Love love love LOOOVE this place. Would be even better if they played nautical music!! 🎶🏴‍☠

Dropped in for a drink on the way passed, the bartender forfilled our random cocktail request with great (off menu) recommendations. Reasonable price for great drinks and service. A hidden non pretentious gem. (We almost cancelled tonight’s plans and stayed as the band had just arrived 🥂).

First class! There’s nothing really like the Cambus Wallace in the Goldie. It’s proper cool. Understated and unpretentious. The staff are top notch, friendly but real. Only go there if you like good music though.

Food was top notch, cocktails were consistently excellent. Some decent beers and ciders. Band was playing some blues music, staff were exceptionally good. Stayed here and spent some cash and had a few too many drinks, enjoyed every moment of it.

Popped in for a drink after dinner. Place is relatively small but has a great vibe. Staff were great, recommended a few drinks to try. Great local place.

Friendly staff, tasty scotch fillet, and even tastier cocktail (Voyage #2), the atmosphere and music is amazing!

Great little bar with some local prohibition history to boot. Most extensive beverage menu I've ever seen!

Intimate place with legendary staff, beautiful live music, stupidly delicious food and flawless cocktails. The wooden front doors can make it look closed but they're in there.

Consistently the best food, drinks, service and overall restaurant on the Gold Coast. Our favourite spot for a quality cocktail, amazingly affordable and delicious foods (did I mention they have top notch weekly specials?) AND they play the best music!

Dave the owner always has a huge grin on his face whether he's behind the bar or taking table orders and is always happy to go the extra mile. The other staff are the same too!

Our favourite drinks are the rum old fashions and for food we love to get a bit of everything to share :)

Wow!!! Just had the best birthday. The music was great , the atmosphere was Amazing, the service brilliant!!! My table were all first time visitors and we definitely will be coming back. The staff seemed to enjoy being there and all the other patrons looked similarly happy. Great Vibe all around. Thanks for a great Night!!!

Went on Wednesday night for a meal and a drink, turns out to be ‘Whiskey Wednesday’. Had 2 really yummy cheap meals and few drinks to go with it. The live music was awesome so we ended up hanging around enjoying some cocktails as well. Staff were fantastic, meals and drinks came very quick and were great, decor and atmosphere were cool so a definite 5 stars. Definitely going back.

Really great atmosphere! They had entertainment on... Blown away by the gig. Brilliant voice and keyboard skills. The place is themed on a ship that wrecked off of Stradbroke island. The service was second to none with staff coming to our table and ensuring our drinks were always topped up! Water was offered at all times and I even tried the desert which was delicious. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing! Bar staff! exceptional!

Delicious food. Crunchiest chips I've ever had! Waitresses were continuously serving you and collecting glasses. Great selection of drinks! Prices were a little above expected but worth it. Will come again with more friends.

Probably some of the best cocktails I've ever had. And good value too. The staff were incredibly friendly and so attentive. Great live music too which just added to an overall awesome ambience.

Awesome selection of drinks. Lovely ambiance, very warm and cosy. Access to the bathrooms is very difficult once it gets busier (difficult to get past the bar) and more than one toilet for each gender would be great (or maybe just make them both unisex, cos really, who cares anyway).

It's a great place to eat and dine. Love the single malt whiskey

The Cambus Wallace had a very impressive drink menu; multiple pages of both cocktails and individual drinks. Normally I don't have to consider which whiskey to order, but I was afforded the opportunity with their extensive and well organized selection; noticed that the other spirits followed suit. Did not partake in the food menu, but looked all good. Would have only given 4 stars, but the live entertainment of the one-man band that played American rock from the 1950s through modern was great.
