Bright Colonial Motel

An Exceptional Motel with very friendly and welcoming staff !!! Our stay began with a lovely greeting upon arrival. Modern, clean, spacious room with comfortable beds, large bathroom and a kitchenette. The Deluxe Family Accessible Suite was an absolute delight!

This motel is the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. We loved everything about our stay there and had a wonderful time in Bright!

We will definitely return next year. An outstanding place to stay in! I highly recommend this motel without any doubt. Thank you so much Susie and Nick for making our stay a very pleasant one!

Exceptional experience. We had a lovely stay with the employees providing all we needed and a great service with pool towels out the front an amazing large shared bbq area and drinks and snacks available at the office. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean with all we needed in them too. We had bikes and a group of us staying and the employees were very helpful with our bikes too. Only a short walk into town too. We will certainly stay at what I would say is more like a 4 star luxury hotel again.

This motel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Everything is clean and immaculate - the room fittings appear to be brand new. The bed is super comfy, and the room was quiet, being set back from and facing away from the road so it's tailor made for a good night's sleep. The location is great, being a very short walk to the Bright town centre to go out for dinner or drinks. I totally recommend the Bright Colonial if you need motel style accommodation close to the centre of town.

Great service on arrival, shown to the room and in we went. Keyless entry, put in your code and open.

The room was perfect, the renovations have been done so well. The bed and pillows were comfy, blinds did their job. The bathroom was small, but perfectly done, all so new and clean.
Coffee machine with local coffee pods supplied.

Walking distance to all pubs, restaurants and facilities. Would stay there again!!!

Just back from 3 days in Bright spent at this beautiful Hotel. The hotel itself is very modern and clean and staff were incredibly friendly. Our room was immaculate, so clean and the layout was well thought out. Very comfy bed too! the coffee machine and pods were a lovely surprise. It’s A Nice flat stroll into down which suited us perfectly. We will definitely return to stay again.

Perfect place to lay your head down for the night after a big day on the road working, welcome was really pleasant and appreciated, rooms were first rate, also had a dip in the pool which was exactly what was needed after a long hot day, was a easy stroll into town for dinner and also an easy walk back.

Wonderful stay at this beautifully clean well looked after accommodation. Very hard to fault anything. Definitely will be back to this motel.

10/10 stay. The motel was the cleanest accomodation I’ve ever stayed in- absolutely spotless! The room was very spacious. Everything we needed was there. The property was very neat and tidy. The staff were very friendly! Wish we had booked for longer. Will be rebooking in the future.

What a great place . From the friendly check in to the great communal amenities including the pool, we couldn’t fault this place. We had a courtyard room. The garden was well maintained and a great private area.
Our beds were comfortable. Our room was spotless. Even the locally sourced coffee pods were a nice touch.
There is obviously a lot of thought and care that goes into the set up and running of this place.
I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay. The rooms are immaculate and the beds so comfortable. The place is absolutely beautiful, quiet and with great common areas like the bbq and the pool. The staff is really nice as well. I’d definitely love to go back!

Went for a motorcycle ride last couple of days and we spent the night at Bright colonial motel.

Wonderful place to stay the staff are very friendly, easy check in check out.

Rooms are nice equipped with basic amenities coffee machine. Very clean rooms.

Outdoor kitchen is wonderful to cook up a meal, full equipped kitchen, bbq and pizza oven.

Pool is nice never got to use it.

Will go back with the family one day and will definitely stay here.

We didn’t stay peak time but the car park was busy, I never heard any noise from other quest.

We were fortunate enough to “escape” to the snow between lockdowns and decided to break our journey and stay in Bright overnight. I’m so glad we did. The Bright Colonial Motel was a very pleasant surprise. We had a super friendly greeting and our room was so clean that even my fanatical mother-in-law wouldn’t be able to fault if she was there! The bathrooms are very contemporary and tasteful. Plenty of towels, lovely products and also very, very clean. The kitchenette was well set out and had a pod machine for the much needed morning coffee. Our friend’s stayed in another room with a very generous bath tub. They loved it too. I would definitely stay there again and it’s just a short stroll to the brewery where we had dinner and enjoyed a few brews. Everyone’s doing it tough so it’s great to support the businesses in our regional towns when we can.

Stayed here in early December 2021. Place is absolutely fantastic. With a modern exterior and just as modern motel rooms. Everything was clean and tidy in the room upon arrival. The owner was just as fantastic and went above and beyond to help us and apologies when we had some noisy motel guest to deal with early one morning. Will definitely stay here again especially being just far enough from the shops but not to far you can’t walk to them. Easy 5 stars

Stayed here for 3 days, absolutely nice, the room was very clean and modern,
Equipped with microwave and toaster, also there is an alfresco area ,with cooking facilities, and eating area outside the rooms, so you can easily walk the 300 odd meters to Woolworths and buy fresh food to cook meals , which is ideal if on a budget.
The pool was clean ,they will also give you extra towels just for swimming if you want .
The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, will definitely book here again.

Stayed at this fantastic motel for two nights over the weekend and my partner and I couldn’t have been happier! Rooms are modern, spacious, clean and comfortable! The outdoor facilities were awesome (pool, outdoor kitchen, sitting areas, BBQ and outdoor pizza oven). And to top it off, it’s only a short stroll into the centre of Bright. Will definitely be spreading the word!!!

Giving Bright Colonial top scores. When in Bright, this is the best value for money accommodation. Very clean rooms, facilities for bbq, cooking and dining. Even has a pizza oven and full kitchen facilities. Laundry and ironing facility is also available. Happy that we chose Bright Colonial and will do so on our next trip to the Alpine region.
