In the middle of nowhere comes this little hole, also had water within the hole with a walkway and a floating pontoon. The water temperature is always a constant 12 degrees. If you're staying overnight and this is cold, go for a dip in the mornings and keep warm this way

Best experience I had on my trip. I went to the little blue lake early in the mornings. I had the place to myself. Such a beautiful swimming hole. It's a shame that people are not being respectful of the area. Lots of rubbish left by tourists. So disappointing. The place, however, was/is simply perfect.

Awesome place to visit, if you are a confident swimmer, take a dip in it. 45m deep and constant 12 degree with the water. Very refreshing on warm and sunny days!!

Huge sink hole with great (but cold) swimming access. Well kept grounds, ample parking. Suitable for caravans.

We call it The swimming hole. It's our favourite destination. Always 12 degrees no matter what earth is doing.

Grandchildren loved it. Aged 9, 12 & 14 . Older ones joined lots of others jumping from various ledges high above the pristine, deep, deep water.

Amazing swim hole out in the middle of nowhere. Close to Mount Gambier. Worth a visit

Interesting, very crowded, kind of cool and different. Alot of flies around for some reason but seems to be a hot spot for locals and campers.
Its easy to miss the turn as it's not greatly sign posted, so you will need to keep your eyes on watch for the only blue sign, just as you turn into the dirt car park.
It's literally, a sink-hole in an open space of a paddock sort of thing, its not particularly developed, so very natural, much like its occurrence.
It's definitely worth stopping in and going for a swim, it's free to swim and park.
How many chances do you get to swim in an actual sink-hole?
Be prepared, the water is cold, even on a SA hot day. The water is deep, we saw people jumping off the top rim of the sink-hole into the water, they're crazy! ;)

Little gem short drive out of town. Worth the drive because you can go right in for a swim.

Very nice spot, gets very busy when hot, not much caravan parking. So go early.

A great place for a swim in warm weather. Natural sinkhole clear water and includes raft or steps to exit. No known facilities. . A must see when in the area, large carpark adjoining

What a surprise. Make sure you go here, worth the drive. Great for a swim and has different heights to jump from. Everyone should jump from the cliff just to the right of the steps into the water. My kids were brave and jumped from the highest cliff on the opposite side. One of our favourite places.

Great spot to stop. Family friendly. Although the flies may test your nerve. Swimming hole is right below the carpark with easy stair access. If you have young kids you will need to keep a hold on them as it's a steep descent with no guard rails.

The lake was stunning blue colour and vast water collection. So serene natural to see the blue colour. Very good vantage and viewing points created with an under road walk through. also good information of the wonder was erected for viewers to see. Loved it and highly recommend it to go to Mt Gambier with the other natural wonders.
