Opal Inn Saloon Bar

If you are planning just one meal at Coober Pedy, the chilli prawn pasta at Opal Inn Saloon Bar is it. It was so good, I had it again on night two here.

Great bar staff and service too.

One of the best chicken parme I've had. Must try. Their house burger is great as well. Service is also impeccable. Kudos to the team.

I have travelled between Adelaide and Alice Springs many many times for work and have always had the privilege to pop in at the main bar at the Opal Inn for a ale or two.
What has made my experience fantastic (5 Star) rather than good have been the staff. Without a doubt the hospitality and kindness from both Rika and Mhely was amazing. They are both are an asset to any hospitality based business and I hope to see them both on my next visit 👍👌
Besides the amazing staff, the food was great and in this part of the world.. good value!

Excellent atmosphere. Only a few patrons, but that added to the vibe. Left very relaxed.

We arrived when renovations were happening. They were welcoming and went out of their way to please. Only 2 staff on...one in the bottle shop and one at the disassemble bar... good job Jack.
We had wedges and prawn dumplings.... delicious?

The food was amazing. The cream of cauliflower soup was very good. I went for a second serve. The prawn and ginger dumplings were very good. Must visit! Extra points for the host who took the order as he was very courteous and understanding.

Just finished my first meal here. The three meals put on our table were absolutely top notch. The bartender was exceptionally efficient. Beer tasted great. I'd order absolutely anything on this menu with 100% confidence of it being sensational

Never seen it so clean or busy. The girls and young fella there are doing an amazing job. The food was sensational and we really enjoyed our stay there this time morenthan last time. Daisy was gorgeous!

We came here last night and had excellent barramundi so we returned and the kangaroo was the best I have ever had. This is a wonderful dining experience. Very good value.

Excellent food and even better by the chef. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times, the butter chicken is simply out of this world
