Broome Laundromat

Best laundromat experience I've ever had as a tourist. All machines are tap to pay, so you don't have to figure out change/coins. I had a normal-sized load of my own clothes (no bedding, no heavy clothes since it's hot) and the 30 min wash + 30 min dry (medium heat) worked perfectly. I popped in my wash, went over to STK for breakfast, popped in the dryer, then sat on a bench and enjoyed the water for 30 minutes. Idyllic! There is no soap available in the laundromat; a manager happened to be there when I was and said he tries to leave out a container for anyone who needs it. But, there's a convenience store literally next door where you can buy soap, so that's easy enough.

This place is fantastic. It is brand new and extremely clean. Unfortunately a little bit expensive and $7 a machine but you get what you pay for. You can use $1 or $2 coins but also you can tap your credit card and not use money at all. It also has a large 18 kilo machine and big dryers. The normal dryers are $2 for 12 minutes

Open every day from 7am to 7pm. There even a TV with Netflix on it.

Very clean and well set up with washers and dryers in near new condition. Located within the Seaview Shopping mini-mart where you can grab a coffee or visit the excellent historical museum across the road while you wait for your washing to finish.

Clean and tidy facilities, machines in good condition. Change machine ate my $5 note but after a call to the owners they arrived within 10 mins to solve the problem.

Great place to stop with a bag full of wet clothes and towels after a few days on the boat. Nice and clean and wasn’t busy

We've been using the Broome laundromat for 2mths now and overall it's very good
A bit tight for space and only one large washer.
The large washer caters for two men for the week including bedding and work cloths, and they have the large dryers also in two sizes.
We had one experience where we had paid credit card and though they got our money, the machine didn't operate.
We called the contact number but no answer until a couple days later and they were happy to refund our money
The machines are mostly reliable and clean
We continue to use this service

Clean, inexpensive (cheaper if you pay with card) and everything worked really well. Was in and out in just over an hour. 😊
