Nice lighthouse. Great photo boards to explain the history. 2 cottages from the people that used to look after the lighthouse.

Lovely spot with gorgeous views. Renting the lighthouse cottages is an excellent way to spend a dive trip during cuttlefish season. This is my third year running a trip with The Dive Shack at Point Lowly and it gets better every year! Excellent way to enjoy a winter weekend away and see some really unique creatures interacting.

Interesting part of local history's oddities with the lighthouse heightening in 1909, it's decommissioning by AMSA in 1993 and the takeover by Whyalla council in 1995.

Gorgeous scenery. One of the most beautiful lighthouses sceneries in the Australian South. White sand and crystal clear water. Toilets and bins available at Point Lowly Marina at just 850m. Please keep the place as pristine as it is looking now 👌😄

Magnificent natural views, the light house is in a good condition, the rocks formations around is interesting, the seas are rough here swimming is not recommended near the lighthouse, few big kangaroos were around,

Beautiful place, good for fishing and snorkeling. You can rent our cottages here or camp in the campsite. Plenty to do, however note that there are no shops/cafes or facilities available here.
