These gardens are a credit to Whyalla, and a wonderful place to spend some time. They even have some large aviarys with Cockatiels, Parrots, Galahs and Cockatoos. I'd get rid of the pine trees and replace them with Australian natives though. Go and check it out, you'll love it.🕊

Absolutely beautiful gardens. So pretty, peaceful and relaxing. Grew up in Whyalla and I now live in Adelaide and always love to visit here, even a lifetime later, it's still just simply stunning.

Magnificent trees in a well set out garden area. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the gardens admiring the flowers and trees and then we came across the big bird Avery in the middle of the gardens. It was so nice checking out the different birds- some we heard speak! Lots of shade if weather is hot. Situated next to children’s playground and right near the beach. We made a day of it.

Beautiful gardens, BBQ's, children's play facilities, picnic tables/seating, grassed areas, mostly undercover from tree canopies, bricked paths, some feathered and caged animals. Car parking accessible for all, public toilets, wheelchair accessible throughout the gardens.

Lovely garden with different plants and trees. Love the big bird house with lots of birds inside. Enjoy walk to the garden and talk to the galah and the cockatoo. 😄

Beach access for kayaks is terrible. No where to park a trailer close to a ramp for launching. We had good access once but the council removed it and never replaced it as they agreed to do.

The gardens are lovely and green. Good variety of plants and trees, a playground, and plenty of space to sit and have a picnic. There's also a large bird aviary.

Whether it's a wedding, kids party or just time to relax with family, the gardens are just beautiful. There are some birds, playgrounds and tennis courts as well. Kane and the team from council do an amazing job keeping the gardens looking neat and pretty.
