I first started visiting Dr Skala nearly 30 years ago when he first opened his practice. Following my 25 year relocation to Melbourne and returning to Brisbane, it’s great to see him again and benefiting from his experience. Finding a doctor with a long history of knowledge and providing care is difficult to find, so if you are looking for this in a practitioner, I recommend you meeting with Dr Skala.

Dr Skala and Dr Kwon and admininistration have looked after my family for seven years and we are very pleased and warmed by the professional care, love and unique results bestowed the practice.

I went there with my grandma and Dr Jade Kwon was very thorough and the service quality was great. Thank you very much! The practice is not bulk billed but I would still go again.

I have been going to Brisbane CBD 7 Day Medical Center for several years now and have always received professional and effective medical treatment as well as support. On my arrival l go to the reception to confirm my appointment, are then tolled to be seated and shortly after I am seen to by my Dr. I have never found my self waiting long periods of time which makes it easier for me. The receptionists have always treated me with respect and have been exceptionally friendly, always happy to answer any of my questions and resolve any issues I am dealing with.

The Dr. I have been seeing is Dr. John Skala, in which has been an exceptional general practitioner. He is always professional and shows extensive knowledge within the medical field, being in the industry with over 50 years experience, making me always feel comfortable going to him with any health or medical conditions or concerns in which he has always done his best to treat, resulting in a successful outcome for my health and wellbeing.

Overall I have been given nothing but a positive and satisfactory experience ever since I have been coming here to this medical center that in result, has put my lifestyle and heath in a grate sate. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

Every visit for GP Appointment or Physical Therapy, have been incredible because of the kindness of the personal and also the quality of all the staff as proffesionals as persons.

Probably hands down one of the best doctors I have ever been to. Dr Tam is knowledgeable, friendly and treats me like a human being. If I show up for my appointment at 10:00 I might get in around 10:20 which I think is incredible considering the HOURS of wait times I've experienced elsewhere. The front desk administrators are always smiley and also seem to genuinely care if you are well. I am always able to get a next day or same day appointment. It is about $95 to see a doctor and I also think that's quite reasonable. As a traveler I highly recommend this clinic, and specifically this doctor to anyone.

I've been travelling internationally for work over the past 12 years, CBD medical have always taken care of all my travel medical requirements providing a prompt professional service that's never let me down. Recently, i moved to CBD medical for my personal medical requirements and had an appointment with Dr Kevin Tam. Dr Tam was great, very professional and had a very personable approach. I highly recommend CBD medical & Dr Tam.

My family and I have been attending here for over 20 years for general practice issues and also before we travel overseas for vaccinations (as we do often).
Their location is easy to find and they are open every day. They are usually fully booked but will always fit us in if it is urgent. They have a wide range of services available on site so there is no need to go trying to find pathology, physiotherapy etc
We have never had any issues with any of the doctors or practice staff. I would rate then 6 stars if this were available!

Excellent medical centre with experienced Australian trained male and female doctors. They also have a very wide range of services under the one roof as well as being open most days of the year. Sometimes, I have to wait past my appointment time but I realise that’s it’s very difficult to manage a medical consultation and this has also happened in all other medical clinics I have previously attended in Australia in recent years. But not with the case of CBD Medical centre, they always provided me appointment and seen me at that scheduled time. Their location is also very convenient being in the heart of the Brisbane City Mall , close to bus and train station. It is also within the Brisbane city council car park which is a few short steps away.

I work on board a private yacht that cruises to rather extensive locations. We have been working with Kristina, from the Travel Clinic, in order to complete all necessary travel vaccinations. She has been absolutely brilliant! All staff at the medical centre have been!
From coordinating a number of crews different vaccinations, to informing us about all pros and cons based on our travel itinerary, I have been able to feel 100% at ease throughout the process. Thank you so much for you advice and incredible professionalism over the months! :)

Very professional and efficient service. The reception staff and Doctor were all excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this practitioner. I arrived early for my early AM appointment and was seen straight away and the Doctor was very knowledgeable and professional. I needed to collect a prescription from the Wizard chemist which is conveniently located downstairs and they were equally efficient and professional.

Great local service with excellent accessibility, location and more private reception area then many medical practices have. I can usually get a sooner appointment then I had been able to in the past when I lived out of the local area, which I find very important because I don't want to wait long to get an appointment when I decide to make one. At the appointment, I check with reception how long the Doctor may be because there is always a wait for any Doctor I have ever been to in my life and I just do some errand in the city or do things in the waiting area while I wait to be seen. They have always been reliably there over many years, with great Doctors to choose from in case my Doctor isn't available at the time needed. I feel comfortable talking with my Doctor about any issues I have and have been very happy with his service.

We went to this medical centre in Brisbane CBD for our COVID-19 vaccinations and we must say that the staff, nurses and doctor were so very friendly and helpful. They were all very attentive and informative. The nurse, with the New Zealand accent, ( sorry forgot her name ) was particularly calming and helped my wife who was rather apprehensive. The practise was on-time and spotlessly clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and 5 Stars to everyone. Thank you
