Francis Ma - Orthopaedic Surgeon

I have been seeing Mr Ma for nearly 2 year to plan for 2 total knee replacements when the time was right. . In this time Mr Ma has always been very caring and professional, he never rushed this procedure and helped me work through my hesitation and nerves. Together we made a plan for the right time to have my right knee replacement which finally happened 6 weeks ago. Today I saw Mr Ma for my 6 week review. I am walking normally and do not need crutches anymore. Before my procedure, Mr Ma went through what would happen before the surgery and the recovery time and what to expect. His team was highly skilled and had the patients interest as number one which made me feel at ease. I am so happy with my outcome. I have spoken to Mr Ma today about a plan for my second knee replacement later on in the year with no hesitation and total trust with Mr Ma. He is so kind and caring, Thankyou Mr Ma for your ongoing genuine care, understanding, professionalism and skill. I wish the star rating was out of 10 as my rating would be 10 out of 10. My family can’t believe how quickly I am recovering. Thanks again will see you again near the end of the year. Best thing I ever did and I received the best care from a wonderful surgeon and his team and this includes the staff at Kog you are all so caring, friendly and made me feel cared for .

Having had Mr Francis Ma operate on me with an anterior hip replacement. A brilliant Professional in every way, very caring, empathetic and great bedside manner. This procedure has changed my life, No Pain!. Highly recommend Mr Ma to any one.

Just had an anterior hip replacement- hospital 4 days as I lived some distance away. Now six days post op and today walked briefly without crutches. Brilliant man, no doubt a perfectionist who is also extremely personable. Highly recommend.

Excellent surgeon who gives personal attention to all his patients. I definitely recommend him to all those who suffer from hip problems. I myself was referred by a close friend of mine. Mr Ma is a fantastic surgeon. He did a hip arthroscopy on each of my 16 year old daughter’s hips and made sure we knew everything that was going to happen. He went out of his way to make the cost as little as possible as we were self funding. He is a fantastic surgeon and I highly recommend him.

Wonderful surgeon and compassionate and caring gentleman. Visited every day after my anterior hip replacement which was very impressive . Gives honest opinion and definitely is skilled . Would recommend him highly .

Mr Ma is a wonderful surgeon who was happy to guide me through the the whole procedure of a knee replacement. The robotic surgery made the recovery time much quicker. Would thoroughly recommend Mr Ma. Greg Hosking.

Mr Ma is a brilliant orthopedic surgeon.
I have had both knee replacements done by Mr Ma over the last 3 years.
He is very informative about procedures ,is very caring and kind and never rushes any appointment he also has a fantastic bedside manner.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mr Ma did my ACL reconstructive surgery in November 2019 and he was everything I expected and more from an expert specialist. The explanations he gave me through the whole processs were in depth, easily understood, and allowed me to make a very informed decision regarding my choice of surgeon.
